I love a clean hotel. I literally do not have any complaints. Cute, clean and suitable. Convenient parking at $20 with in and out privileges. Fridge in the room but no microwave on the property at all. There is a restaurant with bar on the property as well. I would definitely stay next time I am in Newark.

The early check in and the shuttle service were good. However as this was a lay over stop where I needed a good night sleep the in room clock radio alarm going off at 3am, 315am 330am 345am wasn’t acceptable!!!

I stayed here for three nights on a recent business trip. Spacious room, comfortable bed, really good food on site, and friendly service staff. The only drawback was a cushioned seat instead of a chair with a back for working at the desk.

The TRYP was a great stay. The only challenges I had was the heat in the bathroom which left the bathroom cold in the winter months. Dutch's was a good place to enjoy food. We recommend chicken tacos, beef sliders, and sweet potato fries.

Comfy beds and quiet considering location - we slept really well! But the rooms and hallways show signs of wear and tear and the hotel restaurant was not open with the hours listed online. Parking is easy (though somewhat pricey at $20/day) and it’s an easy walk to Newark Penn.

The staff were extremely incompetent, it seemed like no one really knew what their jobs were. Also, wasn’t told I had to pay for parking until it was time to check out. Was told by the manager that the restaurant attached to the hotel was “open until 9pm maybe, I’m not sure”. Only saving grace was the restaurant attached to the hotel had good service and great food.
