Amazing location and stunning views
I cannot say enough about this property. I love it enough to buy it, so that says a lot. I stayed with my 3 kids. We fished, kayaked, and swam for the weekend. The house is equipped with all of the basics needed for a comfortable vacation. The beds were great. The home seemed recently renovated and was clean. There's a few local restaurants nearby

We really enjoyed our stay. Hosts were gracious, communicative, and attentive. Property is modern, well appointed, and comfortable. Bedrooms don’t have ceilings so sound travels from the bedrooms which could be a concern for some. It was not an issue for us.

A cute cottage with a great view of the pond. Very clean and a nice layout. It had everything we needed. The pond was awesome and the community beach was very close with a great sandy swimming area.

Cozy cottage
We enjoyed our stay so very much that we will definitely be back. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had, in such a beautiful location. The view and the stove fireplace made it the perfect experience. Not to mention how comfortable the bed was. Aaron was so very accommodating and responsive. Beautiful location
The house has everything you could possibly need for a weeks vacation . The location is beautiful and so relaxing . Our whole family enjoyed kayaking, jumping off the dock and fishing (really good fishing) throughout week. We left the property only a few times, one time for blueberry picking at Bartlett’s Blueberry farm which was amazing and highly recommend

Awesome perfect little houe with lake access. Everything was perfect. The area thankfully was quiet overall. But noise carries here, so you can hear conversations from boats on the water and even people across the lake. Will definitley stay here again

Cute cottage with kayaks!
The 4 kayaks were a hit (2 for adults and 2 for kids (under 130 lbs). We had a blast. Very happy that the cottage came equipped with linens. Tastefully decorated and the beds were comfy. Plenty of seating for the 5 of us in the common areas. Though, we spent most of our time sitting by the dock or in the kayaks. There is a little bit of a steep decline that leads to the water which may present a problem for very young kids or adults with mobility issues. However, the high elevation also gives the house a sort of perched feel. ENjoy!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay on chalk pond. The house was well appointed and we had so much fun using the kayaks! The bathroom could have been cleaner, but overall the house was spotless. Thank you for lending us your little oasis!

Quiet and peaceful in a world of solace
We really enjoyed staying here. During the day, we took our mountain bikes and sea kayaks on different lakes in the area and sometimes before we headed out and always in the evening, we were in the water at the pond. We enjoyed their plastic river kayaks and sit on tops-or I did because I am at the 130 LB. weight limit. It was great, because you are slightly submerged. I also brought my big tube. That pond is a big bonus. If you are foodies like us, bring your sharp kitchen knives, (which we did) large forks and stainless pans. Otherwise the kitchen was well stocked.

A Relaxing Week, Lakeside
The week we spent at 78 Gerald Dr. was just what the doctor ordered. The surroundings were peaceful and we had no chores to do! We spent the days reading and following the sun from dockside to the two decks! A lovely place to recharge and reconnect with our adult children.

Perfect property, excellent stay!
This house was absolutely perfect. It was impeccably clean, lovely and well appointed. It is small, but I was aware of having a more open floor plan, so brought a white noise machine so my kids to sleep- it worked perfectly. Aaron is an incredible manager- the house was SPOTLESS and there were a number of kayaks and a paddle board for use. The pond itself is quiet, and very private compared to nearby Sunapee. The kids spent hours playing and running back and forth between the house and the pond. There is blueberry and rasperry picking nearby, and I recommend The Sanctuary for ice cream! My kids are already asking when we can go back- I cannot recommend this property enough- we had no need to contact our hosts during it, but Aaron was very communicative at check out and I have no doubt would have helped with any issues had we had any. We plan to return!

Wonderful and quiet getaway!
We were looking for an easy and quiet lake getaway and this fit the bill perfectly! The house was just as pictured and the host was very easy and quick to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic stay!
The property was very clean and the amenities like the fully appointed kitchen, bath & bed towels & linens, and 2 kayaks fur guest use were great perks. The owner was great to work with also - very pleasant and prompt in answering any questions. My husband says the fishing is great, he went out every night and caught at least one large fish (large mouth bass, small mouth bass, perch, sunfish). There are no motors of any kind allowed on the pond, including electric. The walls truly are "open" at the vaulted ceiling, so noise from the living room can / will definitely carry into bedrooms... if you have little kids and worried noise might keep them up, take into consideration. It did not detract from our stay at all. We brought a white noise sound machine and kids slept great with no issues, although we did keep our voices quiet and the TV on low volume. We have an 8-year old and a 5-year old. The park is about a 5-7 minute walk down the quiet dirt road to the entrance of the association, it has tether ball which our kids loved learning how to play and the tennis courts are immaculate - bring your rackets if you play! The association beach is 2 houses away (less than 1 min walk); It's not the fine sand but more of a rocky texture (again non-issue for use just FYI for others), and there's a small swimming area and a dock the kids had a blast jumping off of. We had a fantastic stay, really enjoyed it.

Perfect vacation home!
This property was exactly as described in the summary and photos. Chalk Pond is beautiful and quiet. The property is surrounded by trees and is very private. The inside of the home is nicely furnished and clean. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The wall unit air conditioner helped keep the place nice and cool for the first few humid days. All of the appliances are in great condition and the gas parlor stove was used a few times when the weather changed! This is a five star home!
