Luxury bright, spacious, stylish apartment with stunning mountain & bay views


This is a stunning 1st floor apartment in a peaceful village which has the 'wow' factor. Enjoy uninterrupted views over the beautiful Dundrum bay and the Mountains of Mourne - classified as an 'area of outstanding natural beauty'. You would find it difficult to find a more spectacular view anywhere in Northern Ireland. The apartment is south-facing and is bright and sunny all day long. It has a large spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area and balcony. The superb floor to ceiling corner windows frame the amazing view while you cook, eat or relax! The apartment has wifi and all modern conveniences.

The master bedroom is ensuite with a king size bed and views of the bay (fabulous for enjoying the sunrise), the second has a double bed and the third two single beds. We can accommodate 6 guests in total. We can also provide a travel cot and high chair.

The apartment has solid wood floors, original artwork, high quality beds and furniture and contemporary furnishings - all guaranteed to ensure you have a comfortable stay - but of course the view steals the show! - ever changing throughout the day as the tide ebbs and flows in and out of the bay!

Things to do: Whether you are looking for a relaxing get away from it all holiday or an adventure filled holiday, our apartment offers you a gateway to both. Dundrum offers breathtaking views, historical sites and nature walks, In nearby Newcastle you can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities including golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, mountain climbing, canoeing etc. Newcastle has a world class golf course (Down Royal), which recently hosted the Walker Cup. The stunning Slieve Donard Hotel has a luxury spa, perfect for a little pampering. Castlewellan has a beautiful castle, lake and gardens - perfect for walks. cycling and canoeing. Within a half day or full day's drive you can enjoy most of the tourist sites of Northern Ireland - Strangford Lough, Antrim Coast, Fermanagh lakes, the city of Belfast, historic towns of Downpatrick and Armagh and beautiful villages such as Hillsborough and Crawfordsburn.

The best rental place we have ever stayed in! Everything and more was provided and all top quality, definitely a home from home. Janet is an excellent host and couldn’t do enough for us the welcome gift was a lovely touch. The views are to die for and even with the not so good Irish weather we still managed to do so much. Superb apartment with spectacular views
We had a lovely stay at Janet's apartment. The views are spectacular. Lots of pleasant walks with abundant wildlife on your doorstep. Overlooking the Mourne mountains and National Trust Murlough Nature Reserve, the changing tides and weather are mesmerising and relaxing to watch from the balcony or full length windows. The apartment is so good we've been three times, and booked for next year, but we really shouldn't tell everyone how wonderful it is or we will find it hard to get booked in the future!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property with great amenities and stunning views! Our only issue was with the check-in instructions as the boat has been moved away and we didn’t understand why the lock box at the front door didn’t work - it took some time to find the right one. The Best view from an Apartment in County Down - Fact!!
The place was very clean. Janet, the Owner, catered for every little need. We intended to take day trips out, but I could not get my wife away from the window. We stayed at a previous apartment that overlooked the ocean, and is Popular in Portrush on North coast. This apartment is much cleaner and more peaceful. This is coming from a Portrush man! You will not fail to enjoy it. (Janet is lovely too).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The flat was very clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Our host was very helpful and our lovely welcome pack was a lovely added touch. The views are stunning from the lounge and Master Bedroom and the beds very comfortable making for a peaceful nights sleep. Murlough Nature Reserve is within walking distance with lots of walks and wildlife on the doorstep, yet Belfast is only 45 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked again for next year.

The views from the property were amazing and ever changing! We loved your well appointed home. We enjoyed dinners out at Bucks Head Inn and Mourne Seafood. Brennan’s took care of our grocery/beverage needs. The Dundrum Castle is a must see and boasts the most beautiful views and great photo opportunities. We walked the Murlough Nature Reserve, a 6 mile walk that takes you to the beach on the Irish Sea, absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the lovely wine and treats! Amazing waterfront property
When you walk in, the open floorplan and windows all around feels like you are right on the beach! Very well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Beds are comfe and good closet storage. My favorite part though was seeing the tide come and go and how it changed the landscape. Great location to shopping, pubs, restaurants, and beach combing. What a find !! beautiful apartment with stunning views , easy check in and the host was very helpful with local amenaties phone numbers etc this apartment has everything you need for a nice relaxing stay and the apartment was spotless on our arrival attention to detail made it feel like home from home . Restaurants close by within walking distance and lots of spaces to park beside apartment . A short drive to Newcastle which has lots of restaurants and bars with good food . This is an amazing property in a fantastic location. Feeling like a local
We were blown away by the vista of this property - the twice-daily changing of the tide that shifted the back-drop from water to sand. All helped by the huge corner windows. Very spacious. Expertly decorated. And a 2 min walk to Mourne’s Seafood, the best scones of my life at the Blue Bay cafe (open weekends only), and the bustling Dundrum Inn pub. Loved walking along the coast for as far as the eye could see. A wonderful addition to our Ireland experience.
