Was ok last vtime, not so good this time
Gym/Pool shut at 8pm, so missed out on that. Reception was specifically asked for a room close to reception with minimum walking. Was allocated the furthest room from reception. Communication breakdown. Reception also asked when food stopped being served, was told 11pm. This was wrong, so couldn't get any dinner, disappointing. Room has very noisy fridge.

Hotel has no curb appeal but once inside it is very pleasing. Rooms are cosy with nice beds. The pool and sauna is a bonus. Staff were all very helpful. The only downside was the breakfast, the fried eggs were like rubber!

So the afternoon tea was ok, cake was a bit stale Room was nice but lights weren’t working they did mention at reception bit nothing was to be be done and we had to deal with it, luckily we weren’t there for a night out

Staff were lovely and very professional, hotel was clean and the food and drink were good, but the room had some issues. The light switches didn’t work apart from the bathroom one, thankfully there were lamps that you could turn on underneath. Extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work so the room filled with steam after leaving the shower. Mould in the grout on the bathroom wall tiles, not loads but noticeable and probably caused from the extractor not working. The air con worked but made so much noise, clicking and banging, we thought it was going to explode so turned it off. Nothing particularly bad, just a lack of proper maintenance. Would happily stay again but maybe only if I found the room cheaper.
