staff were helpful and polite, the room was comfortable we stayed in a crown plaza pre lockdown and the breakfast was easily the best We'd had in a long time in a hotel, since lockdown we've stayed in a crown plaza twice,Newcastle being the 2nd time and on both occasions the breakfast has been bang average eg in the quality of the ingredients, Sausage, black pudding and the kippers.

found it difficult to regulate the temperature without getting drafts of cold air from the air conditioning. (I do not like air conditioning) On asking I did get a second duvet to have a warm bed but cool room. Toilet cistern kept running and not filling which I couldn't rectify on the last morning. The carpet had a sticky mark outside the bathroom. Staff very helpful and food was excellent.

Nice hotel but parking an issue
Lovely hotel however a little noisy with the trains and despite having parking included in my stay, there were no spaces available.

Very nice stay. Excellent staff and lovely rooms. Breakfast could have been warmer and black pudding wasn't the nicest, but overall A great stay
