PRICE DROP, COME BACK: Cozy Mountain Retreat in Linville Land Harbor

This cozy and romantic remodeled cottage is available year round. It is located in the desirable Land Harbor community in Linville, NC and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. It is perfect for either a couple, small family or a solo traveler.

As our guests, you will be able to enjoy all that our community has to offer including an 18-hole golf course (fees apply), swimming, fishing, tennis courts, shuffleboard and more! The community is also great for walking. Or, if you prefer, you can just sit on the deck or in front of the fireplace and enjoy a glass of wine or a good book.

The cabin is fully furnished, with all linens and kitchen necessities provided. There are several grocery stores close by and many restaurants are just a short drive away in Newland, Banner Elk and Boone. There is a washer/dryer in the cabin and we are equipped with cable and internet.

Comfortable cottage for our one night stay. The beds were a little on the firm side and we did see a couple of spiders but overall this was a great place for our short stay, with everything we needed at hand, and the host was quick to communicate. Thank you!!

Nice house in a great location. Seemed to be a retirement community. Wish I had been told more in advance about the 6 day out golfing sign up. Notifed 4 days out so I wasn't able golf, which was one of the reasons I choose to stay here. Pool closes at 6pm during the summer which was strange, but it's a retirement community so I get it. The QR code for the pool didn't work and I was hassled by the staff for 20 minutes trying to get my kids in the pool. Only able to swim for 30 minutes due to it closing at 6pm. We went once due to that. Owner was quick to respond to the issue, but still not a good experience. Probably will not stay here again due to inaccurate listing info and issues at the pool and not able to golf.

Unique vacation spot in wonderful location
My family of 4 enjoyed this quaint house during our stay in the mountains. Our only complaint was we couldn’t stay longer! The narrow roads in the neighborhood made my husband a little nervous, but thankfully we never met anyone on the road. Loved the view from the deck and the two living spaces.

was told that there is no heat. we definitely tested that theory - weather outside in 20's, but totally warm inside. place was very close to everything, and so much cleaner that the last one we rented in Linville. p.s. oven could use a 'little touchup'

13 Day Stay
Misleading listing..issues not revealed such as master bedroom with second tv and ceiling fan has no closet and is also the laundry room. Second bedroom has small closet and neither bedroom has any chest of drawers. Only place to unpack suit cases is on one of the beds. All pots and pans were filthy and had to be scrubbed before use. Oven was unusable due to being coated with old grease. Baking pan with old, hardened chicken strips (?) was still in oven. Listing is ok for overnight or weekend stay but not suitable for an extended stay. Will not visit this listing again.

This cozy cabin made a difficult life situation so much better. My parents lived down the street and I was getting their home ready to sell after my father's passing. It gave me a peaceful and calm place to return to each night. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the view was lovely. Thank you for a restful place to stay.

New Years Ski Trip
Myself and some friends came up from Florida to spend a few nights in the Sugar Mountain area. The cabin was perfect for our small group and had all required items IE pans, cookware, a working grill and interior fireplace that made our ski trip and hiking unparalleled. Neighborhood was quiet, right next to a beautiful golf course and 15 minutes from Sugar Mountain, 30 minutes to Beech mountain, 10-15 minutes to waterfall park and nearby grandfather mountain. Owner of house kept us informed leading up to the stay, and was very friendly and accommodating. We will certainly be back.
