If you book at this Red Sands Accomodation you take a big risk. I travelled from Broome with a group of 45 youth basketball players and we booked a couple of rooms to help with accommodating our group. Travelling such a distance sometimes comes with delays so just in case i rang ahead to make sure we had a late check in, as reception closed at 8pm. I tried the number on the booking and also this number was confirmed when you google Red Sands Accomodation. This number was tried at 3.45pm, 3.47, 4.08, 4.49, 4.53, 6.12 and 7.35pm whilst travelling in and out of reception. The phone number says Red Sands Tavern and it just rings and rings and rings. I tried it just now whilst writing this review & still the same result no answer. Without having success in being able to get in contact with anyone, we just hoped & prayed that someone thought when we didnt arrive & had paid for the accommodation that a late check in or instruction or a call or text could be given. Unfortunately when we arrived at 8.32pm everything was shut, no instruction. There was a number on the door but this also was not answered. We were left with few options & simply departed the premises. The next day whilst travelling still, I rang and got through on the number that was on the door & the manager rang. She insinuated that we didnt turn up to the accommodation. I had to ascert my disgust at the service & lack of care for the customer & the gaps in the process. Red Sands has reimbursed the amount at least
