Sandbanks is close to the beach and ideal for couples, solo travellers and families (with kids). Suitable for up to 4 Adults.

Recently decorated, sandbanks is a contemporary maisonette apartment, sleeping 4-5, situated in the heart of the rural village of Crantock. It is close to the village amenities and is just a short walk to the beach of Crantock. Guests also have use of the beautiful garden.

Sandbanks offers truly flexible accommodation. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, one double room, one twin room and one single room. The property also has two brand new shower rooms, one of which is positioned flexibly so that it can be ensuite with the twin bedroom if desired, which again offers flexibility to suit your needs.

It is important to note that although it is possible to sleep 5 people at the property, the living area is designed to comfortably accommodate 4 people, therefore there is a maximum of 5 people in total including children. We also limit the property to 4 adults or children over 12, to maintain a spacious feel. 4 adults and one child (under 12) is fine.


Downstairs there is an open plan well equipped kitchen, equipped with combination microwave oven, (Please note there is no conventional oven, only the combination oven with microwave), fridge/freezer, 2 ring hob and a washing machine. There is a breakfast bar which seats 4 and a living area, complete with soft seating for 4 people, beanbag and TV and DVD. The entire property is newly decorated to a high standard and is bright and airy.

The house has free wifi for guests to use. Bed linen and towels are provided. Please note there is no cot/high chair at the property.

Guests can also enjoy the award winning colourful garden which surrounds the property. With all day sun, you will always be able to find a place to enjoy the sun, whether relaxing in the evening with a drink by the pond, or settling down with a good book in a sunny corner during the day.

Other outside facilities include use of a washing line, tap and hose and space for 2 cars to park on the driveway.

Good location at top of Beach Rd in the village. Owners live next door, but you have total privacy, surf hire shop opposite very convenient

Everywhere spotless clean & a fantastic location. The hosts were very friendly. The living area is very small but as we were out & ate our most of the time this didn’t bother us. Great to walk to Crantock beach when everyone is queueing with their cars. Lots of surfing & paddleboarding there. We had a great time

Lovely relaxing break at Sandbanks Crantock
We in Crantock and had a lovely warm welcome from the owner Alison. The apartment was spacious as there were only 2 of us, but would be plenty big enough for 4+. The location is great, Crantock is a pretty village with a great beach and the local people were very friendly. We explored Cornwall fron here and found it to be a brilliant base. Thank you Alison and Ian for a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect getaway.
Perfect location for Crantock beach, 5 minutes on foot and your at the top of the dunes. Perfect location for exploring the rest of Cornwall too. Lovely welcoming owner that lives just next door. Would definitely recommend. Will be staying here again.

The property is just perfect for a family holiday. The additional bathroom makes life so much easier. Everything is there that you can possible need. The only slight difficulty we had is that the check in/out times were different from the information sent from Vicky and those on the HomeAway site, all worked out though.

A special week in Crantock
Beautiful bedrooms. Spacious bedrooms. The single room has a lovely view over the pretty gardens too. Well equipped house. Tasteful decor. Super showers. The beach is a 10 min walk, the beach car parks get full so if you have heavy beach items (wetsuits bodyboards etc) we suggest a Grown-up takes the car down early and walks back. It's not far but it's uphill coming back for tired little legs. We loved the resident's cats next door. Gorgeous. On the beach road a short walk to the shop which bakes croissant daily 😋. We caught the bus back from Newquay to Crantock, it was £5.20 one way for 1 adult, 1 child. Highly recommended. We would be glad to return.

Location, location, location...
When you walk past a long line of roasting cars waiting endlessly to get into the beach car park you’ll be so happy you booked this place. 10min walk to an amazing beach, 5mins to local pubs and shop this place is a gem. 3 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms gives a family so much room and the lounge and kitchen are very well equipped. Hosts are very friendly and I’m not going to tell you about the complimentary breakfast (oops), that was a nice touch - will definitely be returning.

The property is located in Crantock Village and is an excellent base to explore Cornwall. The cottage is immaculate clean and warm and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. What a wonderful place to stay...
This is a wonderful apartment to stay. Off road parking and really nice, friendly owners. It can accommodate up to five people, but I think that would be a little difficult in the downstairs living area. We has a fantastic time here (three of us) and the village is one of the nicest places I have ever seen!!! Thank you Alison and Ian for making us feel so welcome in your lovely apartment. Much appreciated. I can totally recommend a stay in this delightful area and especially at Sandbanks...

Perfectly located and with a parking space on the drive. We found the apartment to be immaculate - spotlessly clean, very well equipped and cosy. The decor is bright and contemporary. There was a supply of basic provisions on arrival which was a really nice touch. Perfect for the two of us. Well loved it!

Fell in love with Crantock, what a gem! A picturesque village with everything we needed, good pub/restaurant, tea garden, friendly shop with hot pasties & takeaway pizzas. 5 mins from beautiful beach with good surfing, surf school, sand dunes & coastal walk. Perfect for active teenagers & middle aged parents & 10 mins from the business of Newquay if you really want that. Apartment, really semi detached house, had everything we needed, clean & generously equipped, you really could just hop in the car & come here.

Eine schöne Ferienwohnung im Herzen vom hübschen Dorf Crantock
Alles war sehr schön. Das Dorf Crantock ist ruhig und sehr charmant. Der Unterkunft liegt direct am Beach Road - also nur ein Paar Minuten zum Strand. Und nicht wiet von wunderschöne Wanderungen. Es gibt auch gute Pubs im Dorf und in der Nähe. Alison und Ian waren sehr nette Gastgeber.

Gut ausgestattete, sehr saubere Ferienwohnung in perfekter Lage. Crantock ist im Vergleich zum trubeligen Newquay eine beschauliche Oase, der Strand ist schöner, aber weniger frequentiert als die bekannteren Surfspots. Alison war eine sehr aufmerksame und liebenswerte Gastgeberin .Traumurlaub !
