DO NOT STAY IN COMFORT INN (1 PROSPECT POINTE, NY). WHEN I ENTERED THE ROOM, IT WAS FULL OF 200 BABY SPIDERS EVERYWHERE IN THE ROOM INCLUDING BED SHEETS. THEY KEPT USED WET TOWELS AND CARPET WAS FILTHY & DIRTY. THE CHECK-IN GUYS KEPT TELLING US TO HEAR BACK FROM THEIR MANAGER FOR ROOM REPLACEMENT AND THEY NEVER CHANGED MY ROOM AND I'VE TO STAY FOR 3 NIGHTS WITH SPIDERS AND WITH BLEACH SPRAYED IN THE ROOM. MY KIDS GOT SICK ON 3RD NIGHT WITH VOMITING AND NAUSEA. DO NOT STAY IN COMFORT INN HOTEL AS MANAGEMENT IS TERRIBLE AND USELESS!!! SPEND MORE MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND YOU WOULD THANK ME LATER. THE RATING OF 8 STARS TO THIS HOTEL IS PROBABLY A JOKE AND SHOULD BE REDUCED TO 0 STARS!

Excellent property overall! Closest hotel to the falls on American side. Lot of parking (no struggle) with in. The only thing is while booking it said parking included but property charged 10$ a day but still I give 5 stars. Very convenient for families with small children and old parents. The elevators can take times but in a busy property it is expected. For the front-desk - If anyone asks you do they give change on Canadian side when crossing rainbow bridge back to USA just tell them yes- as there are change machines installed. Also if you shop duty free the cashier in the store gives change. It’s one dollar per person now.

We arrived around 8pm and Checking-in person was grumpy, though he was grumpy every day. However, all other staff were very nice, polite and friendly, with welcoming hospitality. Food station during the breakfast is so tiny, everything is in one corner, including the toaster and people who are waiting for their bread to be done were blocking everything. So, just poorly organized area created a lot of hassle and lines out of nowhere. Rooms needing to get updated, no towel rack in the bathroom. TV has no apps, though Direct TV is pretty good. Conclusion: it’s overpriced. The location is great, no doubt.

This is the closest hotel that you can get to the Niagara Falls State Park! The hotel is older and needs some updates but it was overall very nice, quiet inside, and very convenient to the park, restaurants, and shops.

The general condition of the area was a bit of an eye opener. I gave the staff 4 stars because the front desk host was awesome, and handled a ton of folks checking in at the same time together really well. But, one person working the desk at check in time was terrible. The room was but there were a bunch of hairs on one of the bed covering (the actual sheets and blankets were all clean though. I can't say any of the other hotels looked any nicer until you get to the Canadian side of the falls. Such a shame, as the areahas lots of potential.

1. there was no toilet paper in the bathroom!!! 2. the bed linen was stained!! 3. the refrigerator was sticky!! 4. there were no face towels in the bathroom! 5. there were dirty q-tips and hair on the air conditioner! 6. the floors and corners were dirty! 7. the person they sent with towels was so musty, I didn't want him in the room. 8. THE MANAGER WOULD NOT AFFORD ME THE COURTSEY OF SPEAKING WITH ME!!!

The staff was very friendly and check in and check out very smooth. Rooms a little dated but clean. My biggest and only complaint was no orange juice at breakfast. And I totally understand. Would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast included and is sufficient; NY Niagara State Park is just across the street from the Inn and within walking distance (less than 5 minute walk!); From the State Park you can get to the Maid of Mist and Cave of the Winds; those who cannot walk around the park, you can catch the trolley; enough eateries just steps away from the Inn. Even better, you can simpy walk to the US -Canada border from the Inn! (about a 10-minute walk). We walked from the Inn to the border and walked the Rainbow bridge to Canada even with out carry-ons! Comfort Inn is within to prime location to all that; remember you need 4 U.S. Quarters per person to cross back to U.S.. Keep US dollar bills handy to change to quarters using the machine located at the border.

The toliet didn’t flush, the shower rod was falling off the shower wall and when we told them about it they didn’t care. Every housekeeper that was walking around or in the lobby smelled like weed, it was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in awhile. The only nice thing was it was very close to the falls and was able to walk there.

The property was very messy and somewhat dirty as you walk in. The staff was not professional at times. They were nice but needed training and a little polish. The breakfast was ok but needed to be more organized. Maybe 2 lines. Any amenities were not evident. (Gym, ice machines etc). If you asked for towels or toiletries the staff complained that they had already knocked on your door. I was there to see Niagara Falls not wait for a knock on the door. It could have been much better. As I walked around town most accommodations looked similarly.
