Hidden fees
Be aware they charge $35 to park in THEIR lot. They will then charge you an additional $17.99 for water, coffee, and WiFi. They have no idea if any of it is used but will charge it as a standard fee. For the price of the room, those things should be included. Nice place to stay, desk clerks amazing but the hidden “facility fee” will stop me from ever coming back

Upon check-in I felt I was shown an inferior room, just so that I ask for an upgrade which cost almost 1/2 more then the original booking price. The cost of $35 Tax parking fee was exorbitant considering there there are 2-3 other parking lots next door charging $5.00-$8.00 or $10.00 for all day parking. Finally, all windows and doors were sealed closed and I could not open any for some fresh air. It was a nice autumn day yet I had to turn on the AC to get cool air in the room. Waste of energy.

Good location amenities wise, but that's about it... paid for my stay through Expedia, and then they charged my card again when I checked in ... and I opted for the pay now option on Expedia.... then its advertised there pet friendly, but charged an extra 50$ a night, 35$ a night to park, and a "hotel fee" of 17$ on top of the outrageous 170$ a night... it's dark, it's dingey, and smells weird. The fire alarm went off for about 25 minutes, and I got woken up to a crying baby every morning. The house keepers walked in on my naked husband and myself sleeping at 9am even though we had the deadbolt locked... They have to lock ALL doors even the front entrance, to make sure the homeless people don't come in and harass the guests... I was charged a 250$ "safety deposit" even though my MasterCard was on file... told I would get it back at check out... but then informed at check out it will take 6-9 business days... I'm assuming they just hope people will forget. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE . Not at all what is described...

This is a beautiful property with a long history which the gentleman that was serving us supper was well versed in its history which I found impressive! The rooms were clean and comfortable! Will be staying here again with any future trip to NF

We had a room facing the courtyard, which was noisy with people late into the night. The staff who checked us in were polite, but seemed to be new and had trouble using the card swipe. The staff checking us out didn’t make eye contact, ask about our stay, or speak more than three sentences to us. The closet is open to the room, which isn’t the worst, but that the hangers are so difficult to actually remove and replace on the bar is a new challenge I’d never experienced before. The picture quality was so poor on the tv that it was like watching VHS again. The lighting in the bathroom creates shadows making it impossible to use those mirrors for makeup or hair. The shower was at the hottest setting for a warm experience.

The lobby was lovely and welcoming, so we're the cute photo worthy spots just off the main entry but unfortunately our air conditioning didn't work, the coffee machine was broken, and our room overlooked the pool which seemed to give the room a very "dank/wet" smell.

Great spot! In between where we wanted to go in walking distance! Staff was great, awesome coffee and cozy beds! Definately a spot we will be staying again on our next trip out.
