Great Place to Stay in Niagara
I have stayed here many times before. The Flour Mill Restaurant is superb and the staff are excellent. My beef is with the extra charges....50.00 for my 6.5 lb dog and parking of 35.00. Where else am I gonna park so I have to pay the fee or find somewhere else to park - really? Then a $250.00 deposit for pet damages (which I get back). I get it that sometimes dogs wreck hotel rooms however at the same time so do people (I used to work as a chambermaid years ago so I saw it first hand). It was not the pet that destroyed the rooms, it was the people. However overall I love this place and it is among my top choices to stay in Niagara Falls.

Got a king size.Superior room with a fireplace. fireplace didn't work.Not all the amenities were there the bed was broken. Air conditioner wasn't working properly. Also when we got there we had an extra fee that we had to pay. Three hundred dollar room but the room worth hundred dollar at best. Also why do hotel places always blame the booking site unacceptable.

It was a 7 minute walk to the Falls. The front desk staff was nice. The room had dirty carpet and was in need of an upgrade. The A/C didn’t work well. I didn’t like that all the hallways that connected the inn had doors with doorknobs that you had to turn to get to move. Not good in a post-Covid world.

The positive is its location is great. The evening front desk gentleman was awesome and helpful. Prices were exorbitant. The room was darker than I thought. The bathroom had no fan so every time you showered it smelled up the room like dirty carpet. The ice machine was only on first floor. So you had to go on a trek to get ice. The maid service was great. Bring your own TP as what is supplied is like sand paper. The day girl in the boutique was terrible. Couldn’t get off her computer to serve us or even make eye contact. Evening person was exceptional.

We booked a courtyard room. It was obviously on the first floor and you entered the room from outside, very similar to a motel. When we entered, the room was very old, and it smelled very musty, and the washroom smelled of pee. I would say this rooms' rating would be a 2. We went back to the front desk, complained, and was given another room, that overlooked the swimming pool, so the air-conditioner was sucking the chlorinated air from the pool right into our room. It was awful. Again the washroom smelled like pee. Also, the tv had no reception, the picture was just blurred snow. We didn't ask for a different room as we were exhausted. Overall, i would rate this hotel a 3 at best.

A nice place, but it’s really time for an upgrade of the card key system for the room doors. The cards demagnetize very easily, resulting in guests constantly being locked out of their rooms and having to go back to the front desk for replacement card keys. The front desk denies that there’s any general issue with the card keys, but quick chats with other guests suggest that the problem is a common one. For a guest, it’s a very frustrating experience, especially given the amount spent on a room.
