Low key hotel in a quiet neighborhood
This quaint hotel is in a quiet area but still walkable to the more commercial areas (10-20 min walk depending on where in Nice you are going). All the front desk staff I interacted with were so friendly and helpful. The elevator was not working the first half of my stay but was fixed within a few days. I did not take part in the hotel breakfast but the dining room is cute and they supply empty carafes in case you want to take water up to your room. One downside is that the soundproofing between rooms is not great. I was there during the slow season so the hotel wasn't full but I could definitely hear conversations from other rooms.

This is a great mid-range hotel. The building is a little older, but it is decorated with style and character. The rooms are simple, but clean, offering all that you need for a good nights rest. The location is great, being only 5 minutes from the main train station and less than 10 minutes from the beach.

This hotel is a gem. Located in a quiet area across the street from a small park, it's also within easy walking distance of both the train station and the sea. It was convenient and in a nice area. Only one flimsy chair in room for 2. Staff was not responsive and unfriendly with one notable exception. Yes, I understand that the French culture is different and I like a lot about it, but if you work in tourist industry it is unprofessional to be so unresponsive.
