I have to say this first: Expedia did their job. I had a horrible incident where my booking wasn't processed for the proper number of days (I had rebooked but Expedia updated the booking properly on their end) and as a result I was going to have to pay for an extra night AND have to leave the apartment early... I had work early that morning and they spoke to Expedia's office (with staff who spoke both English and Chinese) and they discussed things until I headed to work.
Later that evening the hotel called me and indicated they didn't get paid for the hotel booking (which I had the receipt for.) Long story short, I contacted Expedia and they rebooked me for an upgrade, offered to call a taxi, and canceled my booking at this location.
I had a good experience last year with this very same location, but I can't recommend them now, after being treated so poorly. Expedia had even offered to pay their bill, and they showed no compassion and only false effort. Particularly if you don't speak Chinese, find a better hotel room.
