Amazing and characterful house, built in 1820 and beautifully restored by Jacqueline and Filipe over many years. Comfortable and very spacious room; excellent dinner and breakfast. You could not wish for a more kindly and friendly reception by the hosts. Excellent.

I booked on behalf of my wife and daughter. (Theresa) The first comment they made on arrival was "fabulous" and the reports continued at that level.Slightly quirky but with all the facilities they were looking for. They liked the decor, the food and, particularly, the people who looked after them superbly.

La grande maison d'hĆ“te (car l'on entre dans un trĆØs grand logis, une "quinta", et non pas dans une "chambre") est mĆ©morable tant par son originalitĆ© que par la chaleur de l'accueil.
