This was our first trip to Aruba, and the Rio Palace was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The resort is spacious and welcoming, with every staff member making you feel right at home. We stayed in the all-inclusive section, where meals and drinks were part of the package. While my wife and I don’t drink, so I can’t comment on the quality of the cocktails, I did notice plenty of French champagne bottles floating around! The food, however, was exceptional. We were always impressed by the variety offered at every meal. The location of the resort is fantastic—situated in a great part of the island with plenty of entertainment nearby, including restaurants, other resorts, and a ton of activities. Before visiting Aruba, we were frequent guests in Turks and Caicos. Now, we’re torn between the two destinations because each has its own unique vibe. That said, Aruba definitely impressed us with its charm. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Aruba. It was an unforgettable experience!

The first day I got there, I paid extra for the partial ocean view room and the room they gave me was in the front of the building. I mentioned something to front desk so they said if I spent the night in the room they would change me the next day to top floor with ocean/pool view which they did. Then that same day the new room had a leak in the ceiling within a few hours onto the bed. At this point no more rooms available so they upgraded us to Antilles which was nice. Overall it was a good experience just the first two days were wasted with room changes, checking in checking out multiple times, and some inconveniences. I would come back just hope I wouldn’t encounter same issues. Would recommend Antilles more.

Riu palace gave my wife and I an amazing experience. Starting off with the service to the beautiful property view from our room balcony. The pool outside was very clean and had great drinks. The neighborhood was very safe and had lots of shopping options and great clubs in a walking distance. The only thing I could say I didnt like is the facts that the rooms were a bit outdated (furniture wise) the room had a bit of a plumbing problem and mostly the light kept flickering every time we plugged in an iron or a blow dryer.

Love the RIU Palace. 2nd time there. Food is great, rooms are nice (if you get the right one when you check in). Don't be afraid to ask for a new one, we did and were very happy. Staff is nice and accommodating. Pool and beach are lovely and large enough for all guests! We'll be back!
