In my old mud house, I've now finished a holiday flat measuring just under 70 square metres. There is room for six people in two rooms. There can even be more if you have undemanding guests. There is a favourable starting price in April.
The entrance leads through a kind of conservatory. Downstairs is the sunny kitchen with dining table and a combined living room and bedroom. A somewhat steep, spiral staircase leads to the attic. There is another room with a 1.40 metre wide bed, a narrow bed and a pull-out couch. There is also a loft for smaller people with two mattresses.
The bathroom with bathtub is also in the attic.
It is an old adobe house with low doors, the rooms downstairs are pleasantly cool in summer. Nothing here is furnished as standard, but a lot is home-made. Originally designed and not always perfect. I lived in this flat myself for a long time and have now moved into the former smaller holiday flat in the same house.
The boiler room is also in the holiday flat part of the house and I have to refill the wood pellets about every three days during the heating period. I currently use one room as a storage room for things that I rarely need. So it can happen that I have to walk through the hallway of the holiday flat. Of course, I discuss this with my guests and avoid it if possible. I will also keep a few things in the conservatory area - e.g. my freezer.
If that doesn't bother you, you can treat yourself to some time out here in the Uckermark, enjoy the tranquillity of nature and the vastness of the landscape. For your relaxation, I offer wellness massages and sound massages with singing bowls.
I use ecologically compatible materials wherever possible. The house is heated centrally with wood pellets and solar panels, is insulated with sheep's wool and hemp and the waste water is treated in a reed sewage treatment plant. A photovoltaic system provides sufficient electricity when the weather is favourable.
There are often guests with dogs and cats are allowed in the holiday flat. If you are allergic to these animals, you should look for other accommodation.
The approx. 3000 square metre property is designed close to nature and many areas are not mowed. For my guests there are covered seating areas, a campfire site and, above all, plenty of space in the countryside. A mown path system leads to important places. This is a habitat for many animals - birds, hedgehogs, lizards, frogs and grass snakes find suitable places - unfortunately, tree frogs and toads have become very rare due to the drought of recent years.
In spring and autumn, cranes rest in the surrounding fields, and some are also here in summer. You also have a good chance of spotting white-tailed eagles in the nearby forest.
You can also use the time here to find a new direction for your life. As a coach and psychological counsellor, I can support you in this.
Crises of all kinds offer the opportunity to change something - with support this is easier. I particularly enjoy accompanying people who want to give their dreams more space in their lives or who want to be more compassionate with themselves.
Are you interested? Then a free preliminary talk on the phone is a good idea.
I am a psychological counsellor, coach, qualified social worker, wellness and massage therapist and nurse.
An organic farm in the village regularly sells its products. The nearest small shop, a bakery and a butcher are about 8 kilometres away in Fürstenwerder. For larger purchases, you should go to Prenzlau, Woldegk or Ferdberg, 20 km away.
Holidays with your pet: Pets are welcome - there can be several dogs and also dogs over 20 kg - unfortunately this is not displayed directly at Fewo. They are of course allowed in the holiday flat and the property is well fenced.
Sometimes there are other guests with dogs or people who are afraid of dogs on the farm because there is a garden shed as a second accommodation. Therefore, dogs may only be allowed to run free on the property by prior arrangement and for a limited time. There is a small extra exercise area - but it is still overgrown with ivy.
My little dog is often happy to be visited by other dogs. However, she doesn't always like female dogs, so we sometimes have to separate them. If necessary, I can look after your dog if you want to be out and about without him for longer.
There is a lot to discover in the beautiful Uckermark region, especially for nature lovers - wide fields, forests and beautiful lakes invite you to go for walks, cycle tours, swimming and boating. You can also be at the Baltic Sea or in Berlin in two hours, and the very clean Feldberg lakes are a good 20 kilometres away.
