LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

The perfect vacation getaway in the center of North Conway! Less than a mile walk to the village's restaurants and shops, yet nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. Furry friends are of course welcomed!

This chalet has 3 bedrooms and sleep a total of 10 guests. 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom and a double twin/full bunk room that sleeps 4, along with a pullout couch in the common space area. Kitchen, dining and living area are open and spacious. 1 3/4 Baths. The lower level is also an additional living space with a couch, bar top, and shuffle board table. Great house for families and friends!

Our outdoor furniture and fire pit are available, weather dependent, from around Mid-April through Mid-October.

Our home is at the base of a small decline between a set of trees, so please enter with caution at night when it is dark. All wheel drive is ideal in the winter months.

A camera can be found at the entrance facing the driveway, as well as the outdoor grill/deck area. These are all used for security purposes only.

Good Friday Chalet
The house was cozy, comfortable, and in a great location. My husband and I brought our two dogs for a little vacation. We were greeted with dog treats, bowls for food and water, personalized Good Friday Chalet stickers, and a cute sign with my name on it. Although we went in the spring, the house would also be great for one of our ski trips in the winter. There was plenty of space and two large common areas, so it would fit a group of friends comfortably. I grew up in Northern New Hampshire, so I knew a lot about the area. The house had a booklet with many great recommendations for outdoor activities, shopping, and restaurants which would be great for guests that are unfamiliar with what North Conway has to offer. The house was conveniently located in a quiet area (great for my reactive dog), but it was within walking distance of the main street. The hosts were excellent. We did have a question that we needed to text Pat about during our stay. He responded very quickly and made sure to ask us if we needed anything during our stay. I highly recommend this house for a getaway with your family, or for a group of friends that want to ski/hike/tube down the Saco.

The Good Friday Chalet did not disappoint! The location can't be beat, and we had plenty of space to spread out and get comfortable for my family and my friends' family. It was so nice to be at the house to celebrate Easter with our kids. Kaleen and Patrick are great hosts, and very responsive. We had everything we needed, loved the convenience, and look forward to staying again!

This was a very clean and thoughtful, cozy house. The living room in particular was a warm and inviting place to play a family game, read and even take an afternoon nap. The large and attractive dining table easily accommodated another family coming over for dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a number of larger meals, even a big crockpot. The bedrooms don’t have a ton of natural light if that matters to you, but plenty of natural light fills the living room. Also, the location was great - walkable to town and very close to Cranmore. Patrick and Kaleen were very responsive and left a detailed and inviting book with local activities and home instructions, as well as a personalized greeting when we arrived. We felt very welcome in this home.

Absolutely perfect!
We had an amazing stay at the Good Friday chalet! The home is exactly as described and extremely cozy for our post holiday family getaway. A bottle of wine was waiting for us upon our arrival which was a very nice gesture. The location was awesome and even though the weather wasn’t great, we carried on with our plans to hike, shop and eat! We definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Perfect weekend - we will be back!
This was the perfect home for our long weekend in North Conway! The home was clean and cozy. The location is perfect - easy walk to the shops and train station. We enjoyed doing a puzzle and playing cards at the beautiful dining table. The Christmas decorations and fireplace were the icing on the cake for a perfect winter getaway! We will be back in the future for sure!

We had an awesome weekend at GoodFriday! The owners were very accommodating in our last minute changes. We had a great time playing pool, shopping at the outlets, and waving downtown. We had a rather large group and we were all comfortable would highly recommend. Also extremely pet friendly. My chocolate lab Piper very much enjoyed her stay, and especially loved the cookies that the owners left for her! Thank you again so much!

Perfect Getaway
We had the best time at Good Friday Chalet! It’s in a perfect location, everything is either a short walk or quick drive. The cottage is exactly as described in the listing. It’s extremely cozy and well equipped with anything you may need. The hosts are really responsive and accommodating! We traveled with our toddler and dog, both were really comfortable in the cottage and loved the large deck! We would absolutely visit the Good Friday Chalet again!

This cottage is private, tucked in the woods, but close to town was a wonderful spot for us to gather centrally coming from ME and VT. Very comfy and the hosts were so easy to connect with and promptly responsive to all questions

Cozy, Clean, Charming Winter Get-Away w/ GREAT Location!
We frequent North Conway from Connecticut and have experienced several accommodations in the area (hotels, house rentals, b&b’s). Traveling with 3 boys under 8, and with a 10 month old puppy ~ we really needed a specific type of rental with a setup and location that would work. This home was so cozy, clean, charming & the ultimate layout for what we needed. The communication from the owners was excellent, and I took comfort in the fact that they were a text away if we needed them — which we didn’t!!! Truly, everything was there for us and just right: manuals, guides, directions, and all things functioning! We appreciated the personal touches to welcome us (complete with our name and all!) and the amenities that were present in the house and and one less thing to lug there with us on that 4 hour car ride. If you’re looking for a location that’s perfectly accessible to downtown and really all things Conway—this is it! My only wish was that we stayed longer!! Can’t wait to go back.

Great stay!
We had a wonderful, long weekend at Pat and Kaleen’s chalet. The house was very clean upon arrival which is always a huge plus for us! Very well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and even some toiletries if you need them. A very nice touch! The area was extremely quiet, but walkable to downtown which was great. We were sad we didn’t get to use the outside seating and gas fireplace because it would have been a wonderful place to hang out. Nothing but great things to say about this house and we would definitely rent here again!

Amazing!!
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The chalet was cozy and well decorated. The bed was comfortable and the couch was a perfect place to take a nap. It snowed while we were there and the large windows in the living room were the perfect place to watch the snow fall. They had suggestions of places to eat and visit and everything was spot on! Pat was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We will most definitely be back!!

Great Layout and Location
My wife and (2) 20+ year old kids had a create stay for a week. The house was stocked with amenities not often found in a VRBO home. The location was walking distance to N. Conway center, but also really private as it was on a dead end street. There is a small stream super-close to the property we used for a quick dip. Often houses that list AC have a couple window ACs that often only cover the bedrooms. This house has "splits" which cover the whole main floor and master bedroom and are basically silent. It was a hot week, and we were very comfortable (if not a bit cold!). The owner, Patrick, was super responsive to our requests. We are planning to book a week next summer, as well!

Top notch experience!
Pat’s Good Friday Chalet in North Conway was the perfect place for our family (my husband and I, 2 yr old and 8 month old). The house was clean and beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything we could have needed. It was a short walk into North Conway, where we enjoyed eating, exploring the shops, taking a ride on the scenic railroad and playing on the playground. We did several short hikes that were only a short drive away. Pat was extremely responsive and helpful. We had a couple of chilly New England nights and had trouble figuring out how to turn on the heat and Pat came right out and set it up for us. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to come back again soon!!

Good Friday Chalet
I would give this home and experience a 10 if I could. The home was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. My 2 daughters and I have been staying in a hotel suite for the past 26 years for mother, daughters Mother’s Day weekend. This year my 2 granddaughters joined us. This is the first time we tried Vrbo and we were not disappointed. Our stay at Good Friday Chalet covered all our bases. Great accommodations and anything you wanted or think you wanted was available there for you. Bonus, great walk to town. Definitely plan on staying at the Good Friday Chalet again next year. However, we are planning on adding an extra night as we enjoyed our stay so much we all found it hard to get motivated to leave to go shopping.
