Holiday at Villa Chelona in Xiropigado in the Peloponnese, Greece, is something very special. The house is surrounded by olive groves. It is a relaxing refuge in the summer after a hot beach day and on cooler days a cozy place with lots of atmosphere. The view from the terrace is overwhelming. One looks at the entire Gulf of Argolis, from Nafplio to the island of Spetses.
The house is a new building, completion 2009, in a quiet location, in the middle of an olive grove, with fantastic sea views. It is located in the settlement Chasapeika, 3.5 kilometers from the sea, from Xiropigado in the Peloponnese. The house is completely furnished on solar energy. Power is provided by solar batteries, which are filled by a large solar system. For hot water, there is a separate hot water solar system on the roof. On hot summer days, the air conditioning system provides cooler air in the living room and in one of the bedrooms. Even if the water should be missing from the municipality in summer, can be switched to the cistern. Thus, the shower and the toilets are always supplied with water. In winter, the stone oven can be heated with olive wood. This gives off pleasant warmth and a cozy feeling.
The house consists of a large living room with dining area and open kitchen.
The house has 2 bedrooms each with a double bed, a bathroom with shower, toilet and bathtub and a guest toilet.
