The ocean , the beach, the sounds of the waves and sea birds, fresh air, gentle breezes.....come and experience our little piece of paradise. Our Beautiful Coastal inspired Oceanfront condo with a warm seaside feel, situated on 3.5 acres of stunning waterfront property at Inn of the Sea Resort. We are located 15 minutes South of Nanaimo. Our privately owned condo surrounded by tall cedar trees, has breathtaking views of the Gulf Islands and the Stuart Channel. The Ocean and beach are just 20 steps away from our condo. Picture yourself relaxing on our front patio with a morning coffee watching sail boats and cruisers go by.

Our fully equipped condo offers 1400 square feet of living space on 2 levels. We offer 2 Queen size bedrooms, 2 full 4-piece baths, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room with fireplace and 50" TV, dining room, 3 balconies, free-wifi, cable, local phone calls and on-site laundry facilities. The Main living area is located on the Top Floor and the second hotel style bedroom and bath are on the second floor.

You will enjoy panoramic views from our large ocean-side heated pool and hot tub. The Hot Tub is heated and open all year round. The Pool will open on or around May 15th and close September 30th. The private dock offers boat moorage and is great for crabbing and fishing. The property has a playground for the kids, a beach-side fire pit, various bar-b-que patios as well as a private tennis court, and lots of green space.

Inn of the Sea is an ideal year round vacation getaway. It is very popular with families in the summer and as a secluded retreat in the winter. With the islands mild climate its a perfect place to get away. Inn of the Sea offers seaside recreation, peaceful relaxation, natural beauty, and tranquility. The resort is beautifully landscaped with rose gardens and lush greenery. During your stay you may see playful Otters and Seals, Hummingbirds, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, and maybe even Orcas swimming through the channel. Time can be spent beachcombing, checking out the starfish, kayaking, fishing and crabbing, or just lazing around the heated pool and hot tub.

We are located 20 minutes South of Nanaimo, 70 minutes to Victoria and 10 minutes from the town of Ladysmith.
BC Ferries, Duke Point terminal and Nanaimo Regional Airport are only ten minutes away.

My husband and I are planning on retiring on the island and wanted to see what it was like in the winter. The Inn at the Sea was a great location. The condo had all the amenities we needed. The beds were the MOST comfortable beds we have ever slept in…could’ve had stayed forever. Beautiful location. Will be staying there again.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the property. Great location for a relaxed stay. View is great. Swimming pool and hot tub is perfect for kids. This whole place has a nice calm vibe about it. Loved the property, but area was a little too remote and quiet for us. Wonderful if looking for a place to unwind and unplug but with no cell reception my teens had a bit of a hard time adjusting.

Great location, with all the amenities you need for a quick family getaway!
Loved the space and the property! We travelled with our 3 young kids, ages 2, 4, & 6, and we all had a great time! Between the pool, hot tub, playground and beach, we had plenty to do for our 5 day stay. The only thing that would have been helpful for us would have been an inside lock or latch for the main door so that we didn’t have to worry about our kids being able to open it so easily. Our toddler was able to open it herself, so we had to get put some items in front of the door just in case for safety. Otherwise we had everything we needed. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Comfortable and fully equipped condo - with great views!
I stayed at this condo for 8 days in February and enjoyed every minute. The view of the ocean was spectacular and the hot tub was as added bonus. Great hiking trails close and the location is close to most areas and yet tucked away for total privacy. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a quiet escape. The owners are wonderful! Very responsive and accommodating to their guests.

Enjoyable get-away preoperty
The property met our needs for a gals get-away. Kitchen was well stocked with all the implements we needed and appliances were in good working order. The site was very quiet at this time of year, and a nice spot for walks and some beach combing. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Will plan to be back next year.

Incredible! Absolute Paradise
We stayed at Tammy's during the May Long weekend in 2017 and it was absolutely fantastic. We were two couples with a toddler each (1.5 years and just over two). The location is beautiful and the photos truly reflect what both the condo and the Inn of the Sea look like. The toddlers had a blast exploring on the beach, collecting sea shells and stomping in puddles. They also overly enjoyed the play ground with the toys that were there. The adults enjoyed playing tennis and some of the other activities around. We spent the majority of our time exploring and walking by the beach and also checked out the nearby communities. It was beautiful sunny weather when we were there and we loved spending the day in the pool and hot tub enjoying the gorgeous view. Even if it would have rained, there would have been lots of fun things for us to do and explore. We got our dinner a couple of times from the fresh seafood market in Nelson. Everything that you could possibly need is no more than 20 mins away (shopping included as well as a wave pool in Nanaimo). We enjoyed using the community BBQ and the kitchen in the condo was equipped with all the necessities that we needed. If you stay for a while I suggest investing in a crab trap and getting a licence online. What a fun experience. The condo was clean and worked beautiful for our needs. Our favorite part was enjoying the evening view from the porch. Tammy was friendly, nice and was great at answering our questions before we booked and was always fast to respond. She truly went above and beyond, followed up with us and made our booking experience a breeze! This was the first time we've booked a vacation rental home and it was great! This may just be an annual tradition for us from now on. I highly recommend booking with Tammy. The only less than ideal point of our getaway was that it had to end.

Awesome Family Getaway!!
We loved our stay. The condo was Great. It was very clean and spacious with very comfortable furniture. The ocean view was spectacular. Great location, it's a hidden gem but close enough for drives to Nanaimo, Ladysmith and even Victoria. We hiked at Goldstream Provincial Park, Niagara Falls was amazing. The hike at Neck Point Park in Nanaimo has beautiful sunsets. Tammy was a pleasure to work with. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise. Very Disappointed !!
This is our second review..... was the first not received ? Loved being by the ocean, but the condo itself was another story.... because this is the second one we have been asked to write ; thinking that the other one is there somewhere.... will just tell of one big main concern we had.... upon opening the doors, we were greeted with big musty, mouldy smell; which stayed with us for the 2 weeks we were there , and it did not help to open the windows and doors, as that smell was in everything.... sheets ,pillows, blankets ,towels, and even in our clothes when we got home . Was totally disgusting, and no reason for that at all. Our friend , who was with us ; has allergies, so you know what that did to her ! This condo should never be rented out ; much less at that price ; and feeling that we were totally ripped off !!
