Beautiful Ocean Front Sea Lodge in Cayman Kai

The Sea lodges of Cayman Kai are set on a beautiful sandy beach. This condo is only a few feet from the beach and ocean. The beach is protected by a living reef just 150 yards offshore for wonderful snorkeling.

There is a beautiful view of the Caribbean water from the front porch. The waters are always changing colors and the breeze is always there. It is a wonderful place to relax and just watch the ocean.


A ten minute walk down the beach brings you to Rum Point and to a beach bar and grill along with water sports activities at Red Sail Sports including scuba diving, fishing, snorkeling, glass bottom boat rides and the ever popular trips to Sting Ray City.

Grocery shopping is five minutes away and there are four places to eat within a 10 minute drive from the sea lodge.

Great Location

beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. This unit is right on the beach basically. Loved drinking coffee and watching the sun come up. Nice area to snorkel.

Loved Sea Lodge

We really enjoyed the quiet north side of Grand Cayman and our stay at Sea Lodges. This unit is exactly as pictured. Sitting on the screened in lanai overlooking the beach and ocean was mesmerizing, especially at sunrise! There is sea grass and coral but amazing snorkeling once you get a little further out. The owner quickly replied to all questions. There isnā€™t a dishwasher but a washer, dryer, a few coolers, pool noodles, good beach chairs and great air conditioning although we loved the breeze with the windows open. Rum Point is about a 10-15 minute walk away which we did daily. If youā€™re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to stay!

Best place ever

We love to stay on the north shore of Grand Cayman and this is by far the best place ever. The beach is beautiful, the snorkeling is excellent, and this unit has the best views of the water. We never used the AC. There was no need. The breeze from the water would flow right through the rooms and the sound of the surf was wonderful. The condo had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and so close to the beach. The host was very accommodating and allowed us an early check in. This was our fourth time at Sea Lodges and this is our favorite place. We shall return.

Wonderful Stay in the Caymans

We had another wonderful, relaxing stay at this very nice unit right along the beach. Beautiful, quiet and serene place to stay with itā€™s screened in porch, overlooking the ocean. Love the Rum Point area if you are trying to get away from all the noise and activity on seven mile beach.This is our 4th stay at this property and it never disappoints.

If you want a laidback time away from the crowds and close to nature, then look no further. This was our third stay at Sea Lodges and this end unit next to open space and steps from the beach was the best. When youā€™re on the back porch looking out at the ocean you feel like youā€™re all alone. The kitchen is well-equipped as is the rest of the house - it has everything! David the host is very responsive and helpful. Then thereā€™s the snorkeling just out the door, the waves that lull you to sleep at night, the beautiful sunrises and when the full moon comes up over the Caribbean itā€™s pure magic. We thought this would be our last trip to G Cayman but maybe notā€¦

Quiet and beautiful place to stay

The rental was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay at the quieter north end of the island. Can swim to reef located about 75 yards away. We were there when Helene started to form the last couple of days of our stay. Owner called to check on us.

Fantastic property

Loved this property. Everything was exactly as described, and the most well outfitted we have ever stayed at. Only thing we didnā€™t have was duct tape to repair our suitcase! Sitting on the back porch watching the sunrise, and the sea during the day was paradise. We miss it already. We snorkeled at several locations on the island and the one right outside our door was the best! So cool to see those tropical fish in their native environment rather than in a fish tank. Would definitely want to stay again whenever we make it back to the island. Gary and Tricia

Snorkelling Paradise

Our stay at Daveā€™s place was wonderful! Dave is readily available for communication. Check in and check out is easy and seamless. Pictures and description of the lodge are accurate. We highly recommend waking up at sunrise to witness the beautiful views. During our stay for 7 days we basically had a private beach getaway. Our only real visitor was a mother sea turtle laying her eggs 100 feet from our lodge. Snorkelling from shore is absolutely amazing. It is a fairly long swim to the reef but well worth it! The drift snorkel to Rum Point is highlighted by the most beautiful Coral Gardens right off the circular sign just before Rum Point. We visited the coral gardens daily, often before snorkel tours arrival. Eagle rays, barracuda, giant lobster, reef squid, and the most beautiful reef fish and coral we have ever seen. Renting a car from the air-point and visiting nearby beaches, including spots, barefoot, queens monument, and of course SMB is also recommended. Chisolms Grocery is 5 min from lodge and has liquor, beer, wine, and sufficient groceries to restock. We recommend stopping at Fosterā€™s on your way from the airport for your initial shop. Thank you to Dave for the incredible stay. Book this unit as itā€™s closest to the beachā€¦you wonā€™t be disappointed!

Secluded snorkeling adventure

Very private and great snorkeling right outside your door. When the wind and waves were light we could get to the other side of the break and it was spectacular. Many sights from rayā€™s to lobster to a bunch of conchā€™s, squid, barracuda and too many fish to count.

The host was very responsive to my questions. The house was extremely stocked with literally everything; beach chairs, coolers, towels, a blender, (you name it and its there!) All you need to do is stop by the grocery store for some food and you are good to go!! We will be returning! Recommended this specific house to several people on the island.

Peaceful getaway

SO relaxing and low-key. Just what we were looking for, the beach and reef is great, a little rocky and some turtle grass, not 7 mile beach, but that's what we were looking for, laid back and quiet, we were NOT looking for something like Ft. Lauderdale or South Beach with a ton of people etc. That side of the island had some interesting things to do bedsides the beach. We saw the Crystal Caverns, Queen's Botanical Gardens, a Parrot Sanctuary...all close by. Depends on what you're looking for, we were not looking for fancy restaurants, nightlife and shopping so it was perfect for us! Great communication with the host.

Peace and quiet

Sea Lodges of Cayman Kai is the ideal place for quiet relaxation. Get away from the crowds and enjoy the beautiful views and beach. Close to Rum Point, Crystal Caves, Botanic Garden and Starfish Point. Canā€™t wait to visit again.

Glad we stayed 2 weeks. The condo was clean, everything worked, good bed, great views. Going to stay again next year. Chisholms, a small grocery nearby, is well stocked, has more than you'd guess and is open on Sunday.

Nice, quiet and relaxing!!!

What a wonderful stay we had at the Sea Lodge of Cayman Kai!! We enjoyed the peace and quiet in the home and on the beach. The home was stocked with everything we needed plus!! The A/C units worked great when we used them. Most of the time we just kept the doors open as the breeze was nice and cool. The water pressure for the shower was not the best but worked well enough for a shower. Dave, the owner, was very prompt with return emails when we had any questions. We really had such a relaxing time here and will be back and if itā€™s just us two then we would rent this property again. Mike and Sandi South Carolina

Relaxing vacation in Cayman Islands

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks at this clean, well stocked rental. Everything we needed. Very close to the ocean and walk in snorkeling. This was our third time at this rental and it just gets better every time. We like the peace and quiet away from noisy, congested seven mile beach. The owner is excellent to work with -very responsive and accommodating!

A slice of paradise

You cannot beat the location: directly on the beach with sea views from every window. The place was spotless and is the best-stocked I've ever rented (paper products, sunscreen, bug spray, storage bags, beach towels & chairs, coolers, etc.). Communication with owner was quick & easy. The beach is sandy with easy access into the water, with lots of sea grass and protection by a reef. Loved the permanent shade structures on the beach. Great food just down the road in Rum Point & Kaibo. Definitely recommend!
