Staying at the Stag
Stayed 2 nights while visiting family. Staff and owner very friendly and helped us celebrate our granddaughters birthday. Excellent choice of food on the menu to cater for all diets. Will be staying again on future visits to the area.

Comfortable room in friendly village pub
Very friendly and helpful staff at country pub - room was quite small - wouldn’t fancy spending more than a couple of nights there purely down to lack of storage space - but for an overnighter it was ideal. Clean room and bathroom and v tasty food at the pub.

Typical Old English Pub set in lovely surroundings
What The Stag lacks in sophistication is made up for by the charm and helpfulness of all the staff. This quaint little hotel has many interesting features,ie amazing fireplaces. The food was excellent and we enjoyed our overnight stay.
