The house is lovely and has great potential. However, the listing had an inaccuracy, which was changed as soon as I raised the issue. I wasn't complaining, just wanted the listing corrected for future renters. The property manager/owner however denied it, making it into an issue.
A few days after departing, I received a notice that we would be charged $400 for a damaged rug with a burn hole next to the fire place. The property manager/owner had set the fireplace up for use, with firewood already in place but did not have a screen in front of the fireplace. Their lack of safety equipment or a sign saying ‘Don't use ‘ is now my problem? They also refuse to respond to my emails. Rent at your own risk!
