Great hotel - served purpose
Great stay. Easy parking, spacious hotel, incredibly friendly staff. Easy check in. Nice rooms and very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean. We were staying for a very short period as we were attending a sporting event and the hotel served its purpose. The reception staff in the morning wished my daughter luck and were really attentive and friendly. Wasn’t clear from the booking site that the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant so we had to walk to a pub at the end of the road. It does have a cafe but not enough choice to have an evening meal there. But you can order a takeaway to the hotel if you want. I thought we had a patio when we arrived but the doors only open slightly to allow some air in, this was needed though as the rooms are nice and warm. Only real negative was we had a twin room and the beds moved loads when you sat on them… really annoying and we nearly slid off because of this. Maybe some breaks needed to be put on the wheels.

The Hotel is part of Nottingham University campus. Its easy to find and its a peaceful location. The rooms are very comfortable. Both evening meals and breakfast was very good.

Not the hotels fault but stayed in a room by the lake which was incredibly noisy in the morning with Geese etc. no real restaurant and had to sit in lobby to eat. It was convenient for National Cross Country at Walloton Park

I’ve here a number of times when visiting my son at university. It’s quiet and convenient and close to the campus and Wollaton Park. I got a twin room this time. The mattresses were rather soft for my liking. I’d not noticed in the double bedrooms. The shower didn’t work properly in that you could not make the temperature higher. I notified the receptionist. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would be nice to have proper tea, not hot water from a flask and a tea bag. Overall satisfactory. Thank you

Room was outstanding
Arrived at the hotel fairly late and left early morning so can only comment on check in experience and the room. The check in was very easy with excellent staff member. The room was outstanding. Large, extremely clean and very well equipped. Lovely area. Bus stop close by to Nottingham with very frequent buses. We chose to walk into town and it took us approx 30 mins
