Beautiful location: on hill overlooking the lake, with a very nice pool area. Room style is rustic, bathroom is a bit old and dated. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake, and was surrounded by a beautiful flower garden. However, there is no air conditioning, it got hot in the night, and we could not open door leading to balcony to let in cool air because of the mosquitoes. We asked for a fan, but they did not have any. Mosquito net was inadequate and the insects kept us awake our entire first night. We bought bug spray the next day, sprayed our room before dinner, and was able to sleep on subsequent nights.
Breakfast is adequate, with beautiful fresh fruit and cooked-to-order eggs. Other meals served à la carte and quality is only okay. Order the same dish two different times and you'll get two different dishes = inconsistent kitchen. Locals come to enjoy the pool area (for a day charge) and liven up the place with loud music, laughter, a buzz, and "photo shoots" because of the setting, which provides interesting entertainment. But beware: there are no poolside umbrellas, sun is severe, and I was burned to a crisp in no time. But I would definitely stay here again. The location and view are just that fantastic.
