PERFECT SPOT IN OAKLAND
The room was the perfect size and the main reason we chose this hotel. We found it easy to walk to Fox Theater and several restaurants nearby. Bart station was close. Staff was wonderful & helpful. We didn't realize all the coffee spots nearby would be closed because of it being more of a business center, and the valet sent us to Uccello and it was so great! The area was wonderful! We will def look to stay there again!

Best place to stay in Oakland!
Our kid plays against Oakland in hockey and the Residence Inn is the best place to stay in Downtown Oakland! The convenience factor is off the charts. Valet parking, walking distance to the rink, short Iber or Lyft ride to get dinner, weight room, breakfast, etc. hands down, the best place to stay in Oakland!!!

The staff is very courteous and receptive. The facility and the rooms are new and very clean. The only downside was there is no parking structure for self parking. I had no idea that it would cost me an additional $60 to park my car. I booked through Hotels.com and it would’ve been nice to know this ahead of time I travel quite a bit for business. The hotel itself was nice but just it was somewhat of disappointment to learn that I had to pay $60 to park my car.
