Rooms need a face-lift!
Well this hotel looks nothing like the photos... that's because it burnt down some time ago and guests have to stay in soul-less rooms around the back of where the hotel was. I do feel for the owners, but I have to speak honestly. However, the gentleman on reception was lovely and helpful, as was the waitress in the breakfast room the next morning... breakfast was good too. Internet connection was not good

Excellent choice for a stay for one night
After our stay in Denmark, we spent an additional day in Flensburg (absolutely worth a day trip!) and stayed overnight at Historischer Krug. Nicely located about 10 minutes south of the city on the countryside. The hotel has an old-style restaurant where you could either sit outdoors (bit noisy because of the traffic) or indoors in a traditional restaurant or their up-scale Privileg restaurant. Excellent cuisine. Breakfast was good, though a bit crowded as a travel group from Norway had breakfast at the same time.

Nice location and outstanding exterior appearance
Room was not clean, bug remains everywhere , landscaping was neglected , ashame as this place could be a 4 star hotel. The dining area and breakfast was very good. The service at dinner was not what we expected, food was good ,but service delivered was not what we are accustomed too Also I was charged 20 euros more than I was quoted by Expedia , that did not help either.

Hotellet har sikkert vært et flott hotell, men sjarmen er nok blitt litt borte. Dessverre var middagen en stor skuffelse, dette går nok på kokken som hadde en svært dårlig dag. Frokosten var heller ikke så mye å skryte av. Jeg har forstått det slik at bl. a. tyske hoteller har problemer med å skaffe kvalifisert hjelp, dette synes jeg dette hotellet bærer preg av.

Ingen varmt vand på badeværelset
Der var intet varmt vand, så vi kunne få brusebad. Værelset vi fik var ikke gjort klar, der var uredte senge og beskidt. Vi påtalte manglende varmt vand 3 gange. Spa er store ord, boblebadet var ikke tændt, saunaen blev slukket denim det var i åbningstiden. Jeg bestilte på forhånd glutenfrit brød, men skulle spørge om det hver dag. Flere gæster manglede varmt vand.

Indtjekning var forvirrende, personen i receptionen havde ikke styr på det. Værelset vi fik var ikke rengjort og lugtede indelukket. Ingen varmt vand og måtte påtale det to gange uden resultat. Flot have udenfor - det var det mest positive

Pragtfuldt sted, rigtig gode værelser Desværre var der ikke styr på tingene. Koldt brusebad om morgenen 😱 kunne ikke spise på kroen. Manglede personale, OK OK Vi fandt ud af det og hyggede os med brød og ost vi havde købt i supermarkedet

Hyggelig stemning
Ankom sent om eftermiddagen, blev mødt af en snebeklædt kro😍 vidunderlige smuk. Vi går ind og bliver mødt af en flink herre bag disken. Han viste os hvilken vej til vores værelse, og gav os information på hvornår morgenmaden blev sat frem. Der var mulighed for at spise på kroen, men det fik jeg ikke gjort denne gang men vi vender tilbage. Hen af gangen til vores værelse for man en hyggelig stemning. Vi kommer ind på værelset og bliver mødt af en hyggelig stemning / moderne stemning. Det var så rent og pænt. Der var et køleskab og en penge/sikkerheds box. Sengen var hård, men rar. Morgenmaden var god. Stemning i rummet var hyggelig.
