Alta House - Ohakune Holiday House

Alta House is a contemporary designed Ohakune holiday house located at the Junction end of Ohakune close to bars, restaurants and clubs. It is an ideal winter or summer retreat with fishing, skiing, mountain biking, walking and horse riding near by!

This Ohakune holiday house features open plan living with the kitchen, living and dining area opening onto the deck. It has all the features for a comfortable stay winter or summer including double glazing, gas hot water, heat pump, and unlimited WiFi. There is also a drying and storage room for all your ski and outdoor equipment

Alta House sleeps 10 guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with an ensuite bathroom which opens out onto the deck. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and the third bedroom has 2 sets of bunks. There is also and ottoman and a fold up bed available that can be put in any of the bedrooms or the lounge.

This Ohakune accommodation is an ideal winter or summer choice due to it central location and outdoor living space.

Bookings from 1 July to 31 October should include a consecutive Friday and Saturday night, meaning guests are unable to check in or out on a SaturdayThe fold out beds consist of 1 single ottoman and 1 fold out bed both with good quality mattresses. Property not as advertised
Property was mis represented, it was filthy. Black mould in showers and on some skirting boards. Kitchen hob had a spill on it, ledge beneath oven full of grease, cupboard under sink had spills from dirty rubbish bin on arrival there was no linen. Stains on Duvet cover in main bedroom. Not like TV ad.Had to get property manager to sort. Definitely would not use book a bach again. to get property manager to sort out

Great house
Whilst the picture is slightly misleading (lots of houses surrounding it now) the house is lovely and well equipped. Would suit two families travelling with kids that share a bunk room. Nice, quiet and relaxing place to use as a base. Highly recommend.

What more could you want?!
The house was awesome! Well presented, very tidy! Really felt like home and all 9 of us enjoyed our stay! Also the communications with the Property Manager couldn’t have been more better! Very Very friendly! Helped us when we weren’t sure of certain things and really made renting this property a breeze! We are definitely coming back to this place next Ski Season! :)
