The room was comfortable enough. There were none of the amenities I have become accustomed to seeing in a hotel. We also booked for 3 but were only given enough towels and toiletries for 2. No in-room coffee pot, ironing board, or blow dryer. No housekeeping for our stay either.

My experience
The facility and room was clean and looked to have been recently renovated. The first night I didn’t get much sleep because the sheets on the bed were so stiff every time I or my wife moved it sounded like someone was crumbling up paper. The second night I pushed the sheet to the foot of the bed and just used the blanket and comforter and I slept fine. Very seldom saw staff at front desk when we were coming and going. The hallways reeked of marijuana every time we entered the building. Doors and door latches could use some adjustment.

I recently stayed at a Motel 6, and overall, it met my expectations for this chain. The room was clean and maintained well, providing a comfortable stay. However, the main downside was the noise level; the walls (or possibly the adjoining door) were paper-thin, making it easy to hear everything from neighboring rooms. The staff were average, neither particularly friendly nor unfriendly. It’s a decent option if you're looking for basic, budget-friendly accommodation.

The mattress was bare bones quality and hard but clean enough. Check-in was basic nothing to get excited about. No coffee in room or in the lobby when we were there. Safe enough but extremely basic hotel.

Tv cords were not plugged in- my son had to crawl under the desk. The lock broked on the door of one of the rooms and we had to switch rooms - when we realized we left something they told us the manager was off til Monday and they could not go back in the room and retrieve it> They forgot to put the coffee on in the lobby Sat AM

Only stay if it’s your only option.
The hotel smelled of pot the entire stay. First room, the tools would not flush properly. Called front desk and were told “there’s no plumber on the weekend so nothing can be done about it.” In the morning went to the desk and new clerk moved us, but in that room the bathroom door was impossible to latch. The catch was physically too far to engage. This would have been an ongoing problem that was just ignored.

Very comfortable room, no frills but everything you could need. Didn't see the staff much but they were busy with graduation week so it's understandable. Not much within walking distance but food and shopping a short drive away. Easy access to Norman and the interstate. Would definitely stay again.

Door looked like it had been kicked in off the hinges based on where the door handle and door frame were about 2 inches away from each other, making the door almost impossible to open one handed at all. I had to pull the door toward me as I unlocked it and then pull & push in order to get in. I did not feel safe at all unless I locked both locks which were barely connected and the bathroom door was blocking entrance. The room itself was very old with a loud air conditioner that looked like it was rusted and had been opened multiple times on the wall. The shower had hair all in it still, so did the bed. The housekeeping staff was amazing and kind, but I don't think they are paid enough to care about cleaning the rooms properly and I understand that. I barely stayed at the hotel because the other guests were clearly drunk and maybe on drugs being incredibly loud in the hallways at all hours of the night and people kept jiggling my doorknob between 11pm and 4am. The staff was nice but the building itself looked very much like it was falling into disrepair. Again, I did not feel safe in the room I was in and that was my main concern. Will absolutely never book here again and honestly I'm kind of mad I paid $300 plus dollars to stay at a crappy motel. I don't expect much from motel 6 because it is value but the value was NOT up to par. I've stayed in cars with better accommodations. I can't post pictures currently because I am back home but it was room 306 on the third floor.
