Motel 8, in my opinion is a 2 star. The rooms were clean, but certainly need some updating in the bathroom area. Door to the bathroom sticks, so is noisy openong the door. A good paintjob would help. Buy it was just one night, and served the purpose.

I wasn’t overly impressed with this motel. I found a sticky spot on the floor infront of the sink, the toilet paper roll wasn’t a fresh roll, the room needed some major redoing. But the worst was when we caught the owner/worker’s teenager urinating on the front of the building, just to the right of the office when we came back from an evening walk. Don’t think I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends

Very noisy. Young boys running along corridors and shouting until 10 every evening. Men yelling at each other until 1 or 2 in the morning showing no respect for their families or other guests. Women who worked there seemed to be trying hard.Building looked like a fire hazard.

We booked this room as it stated on Expedia that it was a pet friendly motel. Upon arriving I was told in no uncertain terms that dogs were not allowed on the beds and had to remain on the floor. I told the woman checking us in that it would be impossible for us to keep our dogs off the beds as they are used to sleeping on the foot of the beds. As a result I ended up paying for the night as the cancellation policy was 24 hours notice and we went to another hotel instead. It should not be listed as pet friendly or state that dogs are only allowed under specified conditions.

At 2:40 am we woke up with the loud noises sounds like someone is washing clothes but just the water faucet, someone is taking a bath from that moment on the sounds was on/off, we did not sleep good. The receptionist was kind and approachable though.

The property location is great for shopping and dining. Many things are within walking distance. Our room was very clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable. The only downside was the road noise which is no fault of the property.
