The holiday home "Monte das Amendoeiras" is idyllically and quietly located outside the village center of Quelfes. The center of the nearest major city of OlhĆ£o is about a 10-minute drive away. There are numerous large supermarkets, shops and restaurants, as well as a fish market right on the harbor. Moreover, OlhĆ£o is the gateway to the beautiful nature reserve "Ria Formosa" and some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, the dunes of Armona,
Culatra and Farol. Various other beaches are about 10 - 20 minutes away by car. The house is about 20 minutes from Faro International Airport, the nearest train station is in OlhĆ£o. The nearest motorway junction of the A22 is about 10 minutes away.

A perfect villa
The villa was perfect and had everything you could need for your stay . Humberto was always so helpful if you needed anything . The only thing that concerned us was the path up to the villa ( our sat nav called it unpaved road ) we had hired a new car and lumps in the road made it hard to drive down . I would happily stay there again as the pool and villa are amazing . ( just not bring a new hired car )

The bungalow and its grounds were spacious, well equipped for the heat, with options to have shade - very necessary when it was 33C! The pool was fantastic! We self-catered the whole of our stay - so found the kitchen to be very well equipped. Comfortable beds, sofas etc, with plenty of spare cushions, towels etc. The owner's father responded quickly to any queries we had. All in all, a lovely holiday! Thankyou, Humberto!

We enjoyed our stay at Monte das Amendoeiras" in Quelfes in a Almond Grove. Communication from the owner is very good. We were pleasantly greeted and shown to the villa. The pool was kept clean for our use during our stay.

Pleasant in the Algarve
Lovely villa , clean and well equipped. Quite spacious. The fittings are of a good quality and all you need is provided. There are two minor issues - there is a rough track of 300 metres approx to the property so do not have low profile tyres! and if you live in a quiet area you may find the nearby road a little intrusive in the daytime.We also had a bed issue but we are sure that will be solved quickly as the owner and his parents are charming people to deal with.

Excellent stay at the House of Almonds
There were 2 of us staying and the villa was perfect, although a 2nd bedroom is available. We enjoy isolation and this is exactly that, although Quelfes is within walking distance. However apart from a small supermarket and church there is not much there. Olhao is not far (less than 10 min by road) and access to the N125 to get to the beaches at Fuzeta and Travia is very simple and close. The villa is very clean, well maintained with a lovely veranda and separate pool area, with jacuzzi. Highly recommend this property.

Nous avons beaucoup apprĆ©ciĆ© le cĆ“tĆ© "isolĆ©s", tout en Ć©tant prĆØs d'Olhao pour "l'approvisionnement". Le logement est trĆØs agrĆ©able, et la communication avec Umberto et Ruth, malgrĆ© la barriĆØre de la langue, c'est trĆØs bien passĆ© grĆ¢ce Ć  la bonne volontĆ© de chacun. Nous avons eu juste deux petits dĆ©sagrĆ©ments pour lesquels personne n'y peut rien malheureusement. Tout d'abord quelques nuisances nocturnes en raisons d'aboiement de chiens, ensuite bien que le wifi fonctionne trĆØs bien, le rĆ©seau internet est trĆØs alĆ©atoire. Tout cela n'est pas vraiment un problĆØme en soit, mais pour certains autres voyageurs il peut ĆŖtre intĆ©ressant de le savoir. Nous sommes malgrĆ© tout trĆØs satisfait de notre sĆ©jour, et envisageons dĆ©jĆ  peut ĆŖtre d'y retourner.

La casa es cĆ³moda y estaba limpia y bastante bien equipada. La piscina era muy grande y se preocuparon de que estuviera limpia a nuestra llegada. Como parte negativa, en mi opiniĆ³n, estĆ” muy apartada del nĆŗcleo urbano, en una zona muy poco poblada, aunque tiene sistema de alarma. Y en los setos de alrededor de la piscina vimos alguna rata que no se asustaba mucho aunque estuviĆ©ramos baƱƔndonos

Eine schƶnes Haus umgeben von MandelbƤumen mit einem groƟen Pool, es fehlte uns an nichts, netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Allerdings fĆ¼r 2 Paare nur bedingt geeignet da der zweite Schlafraum eher fĆ¼r Kinder geeignet ist, Etagenbetten und ein Ausziehbett. Wir haben uns dennoch sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt šŸ˜šŸ˜

L'emplacement de ce logement est parfait pour dĆ©couvrir l'Algarve. A 1h de Lagos, 1h30 de Sagrēs, 40 mn de Tavira nous avons pu visiter tous les jours un endroit diffĆ©rent. La proximitĆ© de la Nationale n'est absolument pas gĆŖnant. Vous entendrez seulement les aboiements des chiens voisins en tendant l'oreille. Le logement est parfaitement Ć©quipĆ© et spacieux. La piscine est trĆØs agrĆ©able et sans vis Ć  vis. ( nous n'avons juste pas rĆ©ussi Ć  l'allumer lors d'un bain du soir) Nous recommandons cette location.

Han sido unas maravillosas vacaciones en parte gracias a esta casa que nos ha enamorado. Todo en ella ha resultado excelente, en primer lugar quiero mencionar la hospitalidad de Humberto, nuestro anfitriĆ³n, ha sido sĆŗper amable y la comunicaciĆ³n con Ć©l excelente, ha estado pendiente en todo momento de nuestras necesidades. La casa nos ha encantado, no le faltaba de nada, todo tipo de menaje de cocina, baƱo y textiles para la cama. Todo muy limpio. Nos ha encantado la ubicaciĆ³n en una zona alejada y tranquila pero a 5 minutos de Olhao, una localidad grande con mercado, muchos restaurantes, comercios y mucho encanto. La piscina estupenda tambiĆ©n y la terraza. Todo lo que puedo comentar es de diez. Hemos estado super a gusto. VolverĆ­amos a repetir sin duda.

Les propriĆ©taires sont des gens adorables et trĆØs serviables. Je reviendrais l an prochain sans hĆ©siter . Wir hatten einen wunderschƶnen Aufenthalt von 10 Tagen in diesem ruhigen und gepflegten Ferienhaus. Bei zeitweise kalten Temperaturen haben wir den Holzofen lieben gelernt. Es war alles tip top sauber. Die KĆ¼che ist im GroƟen und Ganzen gut ausgestattet, sodass wir fast ausschlieƟlich selbst gekocht bzw gegrillt haben. FĆ¼r unseren Aufenthalt mit Kleinkind war ein Hochstuhl verfĆ¼gbar. Besonders liebevoll fanden wir, dass uns der Vermieter extra einen Eimer mit orangen aus seinem Garten vorbeigebracht hat. Alles in allem eine sehr schƶne Erfahrung und bedingungslos weiterzuempfehlen!
