Nice old home. Plenty of room for the 5-6 of us. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. The use of the garage was definitely a plus!!! Highly recommend staying here!

Easy Peasy, beautiful beach!
This was a very easy place to stay with kids and dogs. The town was quaint and lovely, we enjoyed Sky’s and the ice cream shop, but nothing beats the beach!!! The house had everything we would have wanted.

Family Reunion July 2024
The house was perfect for our group which included 2 babies. The house was very clean and the owners were very generous in sharing beach towels, wagon and bikes. We didn't use the grill but all the supplies were provided. The beds and linens were great - very comfortable. Lots of extras to make our stay perfect. We especially appreciated the AC as we ended up with 90 degree days. We all agreed that we will be back in the future. Thank you!

Beautiful area- walking distance to the beach and the best little cafe - Syl’s cafe we ate at regularly. Well stocked! It is a short drive to porcupine mountains. So much beauty in the area! Wish we’d stayed longer.

Just like staying with your favorite relative.
I cannot say enough about how lovely this home is. The hosts thought of every little thing to make our stay wonderful. It truly felt like staying at a favorite relative's home (minus that relative ;) ). We have stayed at many Vrbo's and rentals and this was by far our favorite. Everything thing we needed was at our fingertips (all the incidentals that you may need to bring with you or buy at other places were provided. The hosts even left us a note giving us permission to items on the property (bicycles, grill, wagon, whatever we might need to make our vacation awesome) . We walked to the beach, restaurants, stores whatever we needed it was all at our fingertips. We had little ones who were in love with the claw-foot tub (the "magical" bathtub). We loved all the games, books linens, beach umbrella, teas, coffees and incidentals provided. We went West one day to explore the waterfalls and East one day to Copper Harbor. It truly felt like home.

All The Comfort of Home
Great layout for gathering together, and still have enough space to take some quiet time to yourself. A very easy walk to the beach, we loved the use of the garage, and all spaces were really well equipped for anything you might need. We all enjoyed our stay here!

Porkies ski trip for my ski club
The overall stay from Friday to Sunday was good. We ran into three issues: 1. Hot water tank pilot was out when we arrived and we didn't have hot water until they repaired it Saturday late morning/early afternoon. Needed a new thermocouple. 2. The keys for the garage side door and the back door did not work. They left us the originals the following day and those did work. 3. The smart thermostat did not come with instructions and we had a flashing red light. I shot a video of it and sent it to the homeowners. The unit had lost its connection to Alexa, which didn't affect the basic operations of the unit. We did have to play around with the unit to figure out how it worked. We were given a partial refund to offset the lack of hot water for Friday/Saturday morning and I appreciated that very much. Thermocouples failing do happen and are difficult to predict. Since this is a Vrbo home, I would recommend annual replacement of it, like for a furnace during its annual maintenance. There is only parking for two cars in the garage. We had to park our third vehicle in the extra lot at Griswold Lodge, which wasn't very far away. It was $20 for the weekend but the homeowner paid for that since additional cars were not discussed at the beginning. I was very thankful for that too. Beds were very comfortable, the garage was spacious, and bathrooms worked well.
