We had a great stay here! We stayed 3 nights and selected this property for proximity to Universal Orlando parks. The room was very clean and spacious! We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with a living area and kitchenette. It was like having our own apartment. Only complaint is that there was a coffee pot on the kitchenette but no sink. There is an entire counter space with just a Keurig and some coffee pods and tea. No sink to fill the pot with water, you have to walk into one of the bathrooms to utilize a sink for water. Outside of that everything was fantastic. We utilized the bus to the park one morning but walked back because the bus only runs until 8pm and parked closed at 9. We took a taxi the next AM back to Universal and it cost about $10. The pool was great as well, overall recommend staying here is you want close proximity to Universal at an affordable price.

Arrived at check in time and was told the room was being cleaned. We were asked to go eat and it would be ready when we returned. We ate some dinner after a long days travel and returned to the front desk approximately and hour and a half later. The room was still not ready and we were told yo take a seat. 2 hrs later we got into our room down a dark hallway in the back maintenance area. The room smelled like someone had dumped perfume all over the room. That was the last time it was cleaned for 2 days. We were gone all day so they could have cleaned the room. We had to get our own towels each day, and when they adked for our room number they said it wasn't even occupied. Begining to end this was a terrible stay!!!!!

Will not be staying at this hotel again! I had my room already paid in advance and they cancel my room due to a late check in! Also there were small bugs all over the furniture and room. They also charge you for parking for every day of your stay!! I will not recommend to a family staying for vacation!

Don’t visit

Room wasn’t clean. I went to front desk and the nice lady at the front moved me to another that also wasn’t clean. Sheets were dirty, spots in the carpet as well decor. The bathroom hasn’t been properly clean in a while. Let’s not talk about the ANTS!!! This property was horrendous! Nothing was done at all to make my stay better.

The stay was not good at all since they made me wait half an hour to give me a room that I paid for and said that there are no rooms available after It was all paid for. Also the bed wasn’t as clean as it should’ve have been.

To begin there’s no way you go walking to universal from this hotel, that is a wrong description! 2nd when arrived to check in you are surprised with hidden fees!3rd the room I paid for was a premium room and I was placed at a room full of mold the room stunk,

property did not disclose the parking fee for each night of stay. Rooms smelled like mildew, the hotel was in bad condition except for the very misleading entrance. if you couldn't come to the front desk, they could not bring you towels or blankets. Our room was not serviced or added new towels in the three days we stayed, only the trash was taken out. gross hotel, bad customer service, and heavily overcharged. we will never stay here again.

unpleasant experience

The cleaning is poor, the check-in is super slow, there is no effective communication at the time of check-in. The cleaning service is not daily, it should be by request only but they did not tell me. The housekeeping team entered the room, left two towels and did not even replenish the coffee or Cleaner the room. In short, the experience was super unpleasant.

Disappointed and not worth the price

2 out of the 3 desk clerks we encountered were passive and not very helpful. The one who checked us in, took so long chatting about the previous customer and their troubles that we missed our chance to get food. The vending machines don’t work and the hotel has no way of reimbursing you. Our room did not have any toiletries nor bedding. We had to go down and get them and the desk attendant seemed mildly put out that he had to go get bedding. The hotel showed many signs of wear and I would not walk on the carpets in the room nor the hallway barefoot if I were you. The desks selling the Holiday Inn timeshare resorts as well as the one who handles tickets to parks can be misleading. We ended up spending $400 more than if we just waited until we got to the park. The area is incredibly noisy starting in the early hours of the morning. For a hotel establishment next to Universal Studios, is by no means family friendly. It has nothing to offer. We were disappointed and for the money we could’ve done much much better. You live, you learn. The beds was comfortable.
