Peta checked me in and there were some challenges, but they were overcome.
I stayed here because pets were allowed with no additional fees, I did not read the reviews until after booking, the reviews were so bad, to be quite honest if it was a situation where I could get a refund, I would have gone elsewhere, All of the reviews were negative, from bugs, place being dirty, rude staff etc.
This is my honest opinion, Peta provided great customer service, she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as good as could be,
Because I had heard so many negative things and since I could not have a refund, I decided to TOUGH it out. I took bug spray, sanitizer, my own pillow, blankets, towels etc, I sprayed every crevice and drawers etc. During my stay I saw no evidence of any roaches or bugs. The sheets were clean, and the bathroom and floors were clean.
The TV and internet worked; the area is very quiet.
Original fridge did not work but was quickly replaced.
Telephone is hardly answered you were asked to text but the text did not usually get you an immediate response.
Two tiles in wash basin area were broken and presented a hazard, there was a funny smell to the room but disappeared after I sprayed it with bug spray, who knew bug spray could make a room smell good (smile). The outside of the property is drab, behind the fence at the rear had thick overgrowth, at nights I was very alert.
A no-frills hotel but it worked for me, Peta is a gem, and I hope management recognizes this.
