The Space:
Our small but sweet Orleans condo, located directly on famous Skaket Beach is the perfect choice for a true beachside getaway. Brew up your morning coffee in the updated kitchen (boasting new granite countertops) and enjoy sipping it on the deck overlooking beautiful Cape Cod Bay. Step right out onto the beach to soak in some sunshine and go for a refreshing swim, stroll over to Ardath’s Snack Shack for lunch, and return to the home’s deck to sip a cocktail as you watch the ruby and peach colored sun set into the waves. Morning beach walks down to the nature preserve are always a pleasure too! Once you’ve got your groceries stocked, there really won’t be any reason to leave this home, but should you wish to, downtown Orleans is a very short drive away and is full of many options for great boutique shopping, delicious restaurants, bars, bowling, and farmer’s market! Other amenities include WiFi, cable TV, gas grill, outdoor shower, window A/C units, washer/dryer. Fresh sheets and bath towels are provided free of charge. The convenience of being located directly on the beach, and the memories of the ocean views from our home’s large picture windows will have you wanting to return year after year!

Guest Access:
Enter the Skaket Beach parking lot and bear left onto the sandy driveway with three water front buildings on your right, and our unit is the third building (furthest from Skaket Beach parking lot) on the ground floor. There are two ground floor units in this building, it is important to walk around the back of the building following the walkway on to lower deck. The entry door is facing the ocean, and has a LockState keypad installed, where you enter your private guest code. Please park on the south side of the building at the end of the road. See attached map photo for reference. 1 car max.

Perfect location, really is a beach cottage.
The place was great and the location literally cannot be beat. Everything was clean and tidy and we had no issues with anything. If you are looking for a luxury beach home, this isn't your place, but if you want a true New England beach experience, directly on a GREAT beach, pretty close to all the places you'd want to eat and explore, go here!

The location was fabulous..staying right on the beach was perfect for Long Beach days and the convenience of having a home base, no driving..very restorative watching the ocean change from calm to roaring waves. Things could have been upgraded, like the screen door, but I just focused on the beach. Being The last unit, we had views from both sides and plenty of deck space. I felt Very relaxed and restored! Thank you!

Skaket Beach
The location is great. The beach is great for kids as the waves are gentle. There are great sunsets! The unit was comfortable but could use some minor maintenance such as some paint touch up, a baseboard repair, a new mattress on the queen bed, and a new shower head on the outdoor shower. It was great having a laundry in the unit.

The location of this home could not be better. The view is exceptional and the ability to look at it from inside or outside is outstanding. The house was clean, but there were some issues: we had ants in the kitchen and it took a couple of tries and days for the problem to be “fixed”. However, the management was prompt in responding. There is no place to hang clothes in the bunk bed bedroom and that closet, which contained the washer/dryer, was filled with stuff and was not useable, We enjoyed our stay in this property, mostly because of the location, which was the main reason for the rental.

Orleans Review
We checked in for our Cape rental on Friday night. The unit was smaller and more outdated than the photos lead on. Upon waking up on Saturday, there was a terrible smell coming from the sink that turned out to be sewer gas backing up into the sink. Thankfully this issue was resolved by late Saturday afternoon after a handyman came to fix the piping under the sink. The ceiling in the shower needed additional cleaning to ensure that there was no mold growing. The worst issue during our stay was an animal found in the walls behind the kitchen (like a mink or a weasel with babies per the WildLife Experts). We were thankfully moved/ upgraded to another rental after continued complaints but it took much longer than it should have. The rental company was responsive but slow at times with no specific contact person. During the process of moving, the cleaning company used threw away all of our food that was brought or purchased for the week. Unfortunately, we're still waiting for reimbursement from Del Mar. Hopefully this will get resolved soon. In conclusion, be very weary before booking and be aware that the photos are taken with a wide lens to make it appear bigger.

Getaway!
My husband I stayed here for a beautiful getaway! This location is perfect, and honestly you dont even need to leave. We were right on the beach, incredible views and Amazing sunsets! This location is close to many restaurants as well as attractions, but also far enough away from the hustle and bustle! I highly recommend this location. I will say though the pictures are quite a bit nicer than the actual apartment. There could definitely be some more updates, I recommend bringing your own pillow. As they only offer one per person. It also states how they have ac, however when we went the ac units were removed and it was still quite warm. Other wise great location and the property managers were great to work with!
