The surrounding area was a bit run down, but there was tons of great food, shops right outside and transportation some what close by. The hotel itself was great!!!! If I could put this hotel in other areas in Osaka that would be the best and or if it could be in Kyoto too. The staff was great, they speak a few different languages. Rooms and hotel were very clean.

Excellent Namba Hotel Property
This is wonderful property, very near the Namba Nankai train station. The interior is quirky Art Deco and looks exactly like the pictures suggest. Check in was super easy, and we really enjoyed our room. It is close to absolutely everything with two Lawsons and a 7-11 literally within a block of the hotel. The service was fine, the room was really bright and clean, and we enjoyed the decor. Highly recommended for travelers staying in Namba.

Really enjoyed this hotel, which is in walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. Room was clean and remarkable with a full kitchen, including cookware, dishes, and utensils, washer/dryer, and private bathroom, including bidet and shower/tub combo. Layout of the room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was conveniently located down the hall from the lobby and had a variety of options. Staff were wonderful, professionally, and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

We arrived early and we were able to check in. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Osaka for the first time. The Namba train station is a short walk away, as is the Koromon and Dotonbori Markets. The hotel room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff were friendly and polite. The buffet breakfast was basic. We would definitely stay at Citadines Namba Osaka again.

Loved my stay here. It was clean and spacious plenty of room to pack all the goodies I bought. The staff were very friendly and were able to help us with all our needs and were easy to communicate with. It was in a little quieter of a street but super close to everything you’d need including dontunburi. The breakfast was pretty good and had decent amount of choices. Really appreciated the water fountain to refill our bottles

This hotel far exceeded my expectations in terms of space and thoughtful amenities. The water dispensing stations on every floor was extremely helpful so that I did not have to continuously buy bottled water. They also had coffee in the 6th floor lounge that was great since most coffee shops seem to be open later than what I am used to (need to have a cup first thing in the AM). The location was perfect for the kind of itinerary that I had and there was no shortage of food options. I felt perfectly safe exploring early in the morning and coming back after dark. It does get quite busy in the area but that is to be expected. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Citadines.
