Highly recommend Smile Hotel Shinosaka! They went out of their way for us, the room was clean with lovely conveniences, comfy bed, great bathroom facilities and having breakfast included in our stay was amazing value!

Quiet location. Very clean room. Easy walk to Shin Osaka station and there is a subway/ metro station around the corner from the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is a very good place to stay.

The hotel was clean, I understand rooms in Japan are small, I am a solo traveler with a Lot of gadgets (it wasnt as small as people say) they are small, but it's cozy enough. The hotel is close to a station with the most useful Subway line in Osaka. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly (You get what you pay for, no more, no less) My only issue was on my last night I had guests on the rooms besides and each time they usted the restroom I heard the pipes which woke me up. other than that I highly recommend it. Location would be better (but it is a quiet area and right next to a very convenient station)

Loved how this hotel is a 10 minute walk to Shin-Osaka station and 2 local lines. There were also restaurants around the area, esp. Nakau which was great. I’d go back to this hotel if we ever stay in Osaka area next trip!

Loved that the room was very clean and pleasant. However, I am allergic to down and all they had were down pillows. Location was fairly convenient - just a 5 minute wall to the subway.

Very close to the Shin-Osaka Station allowing for people to check in smoothly straight from the Shinkansen. Very nice staff and a quiet safe area to stay.

This hotel was about 3 minutes from subway station and about 8 mins from Osaka Station, family mart at about 1-2 mins, many places to eat in close range, pharmacy and shopping area. Room was very clean, space standard for hotel rooms in Japan, staff was very helpful and attentive

Out of the buzz and peaceful
The staff were amazing- thank you for coordinating with our other hotel to hold our reservation and luggage while my husband was recovering from his back injury. This is top notch customer service- and the first thing that happened when we checked in was the receptionist’s genuine concern about my husbands back. I was holding back tears. Smile was everything and more. We loved how there was everything within walking distance but you don’t experience the buzz and noise of the city. Super close walking to local metro and this metro line was super easy to navigate. The room was just perfect- just what we needed after a long day of being on our feet. We truly appreciated the cut out in the room for our luggage storage- so intuitive and helpful. The hotel maintenance staff was extremely sweet and kind- always greeting you with such respect and kindness. The laundry facilities were god send. As travelers from the U.S. and packing real light for clothes, having a separate washer and dryer unit was amazingly helpful & the accessibility! Would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family that visit Osaka. Thank you Smile Front and Back end Staff- y’all made our stay comforting and supportive!
