The Meadows House @ Otis Ridge w/ 7-person hot tub

Relax in a beautiful mountain setting at this 4-season ski house within walking distance of the slopes at Otis Ridge Ski Area (the best ski area south of the Vermont border). In fact, the back-yard (actually a meadow full of wildlife and flowers) used to be part of the ski area and there are still remnants of the rope-tow on the edge of the property. The long-range views off the back porch are fantastic.
The space
This house has 3 bedrooms, , 4 beds, 2.5 baths, a pull-out couch in the living room, another pull-out couch and a pull-out ottoman in the walk-out basement, and an electric air mattress to sleep up to 8 people. There are large flat screen TV's in the living room, master bedroom, and the walk-out basement/game room (there's a shuffleboard table, darts, and chess/backgammon table down there). There's also a large deck with half of it covered and screened in. Enjoy a warm gas-fireplace in the living room, a real woodstove (with free wood) in the finished walk-out basement, or a soak in an outdoor 7-person Artesian Spas Grand Cayman hot tub with all the bells and whistles overlooking the meadow. If you're looking for relaxation, this place and the surrounding area can't be beat. Tons of great hiking, numerous lakes, and other attractions like the towns of Great Barrington, Lee, and Lennox (all about 20 minutes away), and popular attractions like Tanglewood, and Jacob's Pillow, just a short scenic drive away.

You will have access to all parts of the house, including a washer and dryer in the basement.

This house works best as a family retreat or a romantic getaway for couples. It does not work as a place to have large or loud parties as it is located within a quiet neighborhood and has new hard-wood floors.
