As you enter Sunview Cottage, you'll immediately feel a sense of warmth and relaxation. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with ample space for families to unwind and create lasting memories. The main floor features a primary bedroom and ensuite just off the kitchen, a centrally located family room, two more bedrooms and a second bath to the right. The living area is bathed in natural light, with stunning views of the lake. Gather around the cozy woodstove in the living area or the firepit by the lake and enjoy quality time with your loved ones.

The cottage features a well-appointed kitchen with modern appliances and generous counter space overlooking the family room, ensuring whoever is preparing meals and snacks won't miss out on any fun.

For indoor entertainment, Sunview Cottage offers a games room downstairs that guarantees hours of fun. Challenge your family to games or card matches or snuggle up for an evening of movies or your favourite shows on a large-screen TV. The bright and spacious lower level boasts 2 newly added bedrooms and beautiful bathroom, as well as a laundry room and a second fridge. There is also a walkout to the lawn and the lake beyond.

Sunview Cottage truly shines in the summer with outstanding outdoor amenities. Step onto the huge deck and enjoy breathtaking views of Rice Lake. The deck – and the gently sloping lawn below – are perfect spots to soak up the sun and relax in the tranquil surroundings. Southern exposure means that you can enjoy sunshine from morning to evening. Prepare delicious meals on the BBQ and savour them al fresco while being serenaded by the many birds that call this area home. Sunsets over the lake are spectacular, and after the sun goes down, gather around the firepit to share stories, roast marshmallows, and create unforgettable memories.

Various watercraft are available for your enjoyment—explore the calm waters of the lake and take in the beauty of the surrounding nature from a kayak or paddleboard. There is also a pedal boat for younger ones to enjoy.

Outside the Cottage

Things you need to know:

Pets are not permitted
Linens, blankets & pillows are provided, but please bring your own towels
Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the cottage must be left in a tidy condition

Good snow tires and 4-wheel drive are essential for winter access
Garbage and recycling removal prior to departure is required
The dock is not suitable for docking motor/pontoon boats. Please contact Sunshine Cove Resort for launching and docking your boat while vacationing at Sunview Cottage.


Waterfront You're welcome to bring a boat up to 21'. Water is approximately 3' deep off the dock. The lake bottom is a mix of sand and pebble and silt. Weed cover varies according to conditions, but it's generally good for swimming.
