Very nice older hotel with attractive older rooms, well furnished if a little small. Mine opened onto a common patio where I could store my bike safely. Breakfast was well above average. Within walking distance to many restaurants and a large market area. Within close proximity to the Rideau canal bike path.

We loved this hotel! It was perfect walking distance to all of the sights! The staff was so sweet and the breakfast was just what we needed each morning to start off our day of sightseeing. It was hot and had a few options. One morning we even brought it up to eat on the outside balcony off our room. The doors don’t seem soundproof though. We could hear our neighbors coming and going and our bed had a metal frame that was very squeaky. It rattled with every twist and turn. We told management so hopefully it gets fixed before the next customers stay. Neither of these interfered with our stay though. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Nice location!
This is a nice boutique hotel in the heart of Bytown. Much of the block of this hotel is residential, although it quickly changed to restaurants and retail. There is a public parking garage a couple doors down for $15/day. Excellent breakfast. The only fault was the shower has mildew in the grout. This could have been easily taken care of with a bleach based cleaner, so I’m not sure why it wasn’t. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Small room but well equipped. Nice breakfast. Ottawa is very walkable. Lots of parking in the area. Popular nightlife neighborhood. Brings out a lot of panhandlers.

An absolute gem! We stayed three nights as we explored Ottawa. Less than five minute walk to Byward Market / ten to Parliament Hill. Front desk staff were so friendly and helpful! Room was exceptionally clean and quiet. Mini kitchen stocked with essentials. Breakfast was a bonus! We’ll definitely stay there again!!
