Well designed....very functional with all the amenities. The entire building was clean ...the beds were very comfortable...so much so we will source the matress supplier to change the ones in our home....yes that comfortable. Did i mention it was centrally located...perfect for us. We will return.

Front desk staff are very nice and professional. Checking in and out was fast. Housekeepers did a good job making the room clean. The included breakfast was good. The only things were that the elevators and parking lot were too small. Very convenient location, a short walking distance to many places.

Stinky and inaccessible! The overall impression left by this hotel was how strong the scents were. From the citrus/citronella kind of smell used by housekeeping staff in the elevator to the extremely strong citrus smell in the room, it was extremely overwhelming. This is by far the largest hotel we have ever been to that doesn't use neutrally scented cleaning products. We reasonably assumed (we thought) that based on the size and that it caters to professionals, including health professionals who work in unscented environments, that this hotel would be relatively safe for my scent allergy. We were incredibly wrong. I had to sleep in an N95 with the air purifier running at max next to me to avoid a significant attack. We noted there were air purifiers running everywhere, from the lobby to the hallways, and the room. The desk staff said they were purchased during COVID, but we also noticed musty smells elsewhere in the building. The windows not opening did not help. When we brought up the scent issues, we were told the general manager would reach out later that day and after 48 hours have still not heard. The accessibility of this hotel is also at issue with the tiny elevators. They are definitely too narrow for most electric wheelchairs. There was a grab bar in the shower but it was not textured enough, and aside from the rubber bathmat (which is a common allergen), the bottom of the tub is very slick. The parking lot is a mess and difficult to navigate. Will not return.

This was hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Location is AMAZING! The rooms were so clean, beds super comfortable, the staff were so accommodating and kind. Fully equipped kitchen was a nice touch. We will never book anywhere else when staying in downtown Ottawa. The value for this amazing hotel is unmatched! 5 stars!!
