Mountain View Camp in the beautiful Blackfoot Valley of Montana.

Mountain View Camp is Located 52 miles east of Missoula in the small town of Ovando, close to the Bob Marshall Wilderness, Blackfoot River, mountain lakes, Garnett ghost town, hiking, mountain biking trails, fishing, hunting, fresh air and friendly folks. Also, close enough for a day trip to Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake or the historic mining town of Phillipsburg. Ovando has a store, bar, fly shop, museum, church, post office, and miles of scenery. The 34 ft. newly updated 5th wheel has all of the comforts of home with a furnace, airconditioner, and three slide outs that make the space feel roomy. It has a nice kitchen with double sink, refrigerator, gas range with oven, microwave, upper and lower cabinets. The living area is just off of the kitchen and has large windows, updated luxury vinyl/wood flooring, a queen sleeper sofa as well as a leather reclining love seat, electric fireplace, and entertainment center with a tv/dvd player, and cabinets for storage. All of the furniture is new (two years old or newer). There is a seperate bedroom with a queen bed that has a new comfortable mattress, large closet for plenty of storage, and a dresser. The bedroom includes the bathroom vanity and shower with a seperate toilet closet. We have it set up on the back of our property where the mountain and valley views are amazing. Outside you will find an eating and grilling area, as well as a firepit to make smores, and gaze at the endless stars in the night sky. The area is full of adventure and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A perfect place to relax and enjoy life.

Little Get Away
Very nice place and relaxing. Love the decor and it has everything one needs, well except good cell reception, but that's Montana in the mountains. The highway is suprisingly noisy to late into the night, but Ben and Vickie cant do anything about! Enjoyed the scenery and the animals I saw.

Fly Fishing on the Blackfoot
Perfect spot to stay for an early morning fly fishing float on the Blackfoot River. All the comforts of home and everything my son and I needed before a long day on the river. Incredible views and sunset in the valley. Great communication throughout and kindly allowed an alteration to our plans and use of this camper. Will definitely stay again on our next fishing trip.

Short but beautiful stay.
Very easy checking. Vickie and her husband were super friendly and helped out with showing us around. The property was beautiful and quite. We watched a bald eagle fly around, the horses graze, and a couple of dear graze and one had a tiny baby with it. It was wonderful. The pictures don't do it justice.

My daughter and I very much enjoyed staying in the camper. We would much rather stay there again then any hotel. First time I have stayed anywhere and got a good nights sleep with adequate pillows! We will be back next year.

We enjoyed our stay. The camper is very well-maintained and clean, just as pictured. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the porch is lovely! Ovando has everything you could need just a short walk away. We had a delicious breakfast at The Stray Bullet! There were so many mosquitos outside in the evening during our mid-July stay, so come prepared! We did not have ANY cell service through AT&T while we were there. We didn’t expect that, but we were able to use the WiFi at The Stray Bullet to get a message to our folks. Overal a very pleasant stay and just what we wanted!
