Had a howling good time at the Wolf Den.
We rented two adjacent homes on Bugle Lane for an extended family gathering. The Wolf Den, like the other homes, is very new and has a beautiful setting. We enjoyed pleasant fall weather, close to Mt Rainier and all its spectacular scenery.

Lovely stay
Upon arrival we had a problem with the gate code, but we were able to reach the host and rectify the situation immediately. The house is clean and comfortable, and the hot tub is a definite bonus. The proximity of the house to restaurants, coffee and groceries is very convenient, and seeing the elk roam the neighborhood was priceless!

Great location and host
We stayed at the Wolf Den while we visited Mt. Rainier National Park and the location is perfect. 20 minutes to the Stevens Canyon entrance and 45 minutes to the Nisqually entrance. The house was spotless and stocked with good cookware and plenty of supplies, basic spices and condiments. The beds and linens were high quality also, we could tell the host didn’t skimp on the things that make guests feel at home. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking too! We liked that the neighborhood was gated, and we loved having coffee and watching the elk walk by. Thank you Wolf Den!

Safe & comfortable relaxation right outside of Mt Rainier
We booked this location to be close to the Paradise entrance of Mt Rainier and it worked really well for us! We had a full day of hiking and exploring some of the most beautiful meadows, waterfalls and glaciers I've ever seen. The "Wolf Den" was quiet, clean and so comfortable - the beds, chairs, couch, hot tub, fire pit...everything was so well set up for our family to spend time relaxing together in the evenings. A short drive (or walk if it wasn't so hot) to a grocery store, bakery & other cute restaurants if you forget anything. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay, great location, highly recommend!
We stayed for four night in June 2024. We come to this area usually once a year or so. This is a great little cabin in a gated community with a decent amount of parking. Initial impression upon walking in was great! It’s a cozy and comfortable 3 bed 2 bath cabin. The hot tub was nice and relaxing as was having the fire pit available. Close to the river, and good access to mount rainier via either entry. (Be warned, it’s not accessible in the winter months due to road closures). Overall it was a great visit and we look forward to returning. The host was very flexible with our stay and extremely responsive! Thanks for a great vacation stay!

The property was as stated. It worked well for us. Great bedroom set up for two families with two kids each. The power in the area did go off, which was no one’s fault. However, it would be nice to have one or two more flashlights available. loved the covered parking.

Great property!
We were really happy with staying at the Wolf Den. It was extremely clean (which is huge in my book) and the property owner was very nice and responsive. We had no issues. The house is well appointed and it's one of the few VRBO's that we have stayed at where the non-stick pans weren't horribly scratched. The hottub was clean and the beds comfy, too. It was a fun and comfortable house to stay in. Thanks so much!!

Clean, modern house in heart of Packwood
We enjoy staying in Packwood as a base to visit Mt Rainier and Goat Rocks. This house was beautiful and comfortable for our family. Stylish new features, well-appointed kitchen, and comfortable beds. The location is a new development a few blocks back from the main highway through town, so it's good walking distance to town but without a lot of traffic noise. Would definitely stay again!

Great Stay in Packwood/Rainier
The Wolfe Den was a great base camp for exploring Rainier that was super convenient to the park and Packwood. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our stay. There were elk out front every morning and evening, and sitting with a coffee while our little boy watched them graze was a great way to start the day. Would absolutely love to come back!

This lovely vacation home in a secure cul de sac is spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The color scheme and fun decor add to the feeling of an adventurous vacation ahead! And what a comfort it was to return to it after all the great adventures the 6 of us had in Ranier NP. Highly recommended for a large family or group.

Good midway point for exploring Paradise and Sunrise areas of Mt. Rainier NP
This relatively new house was a good location for our visit to the Paradise and Sunrise areas of Mt. Rainier NP although they are both about an hour away from the house to the visitors centers. There was plenty of room for my family of 5. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a few homes still under construction. There was no construction going on when we were around though. The house is conveniently located near Packwood. We did get to see the moose in the neighborhood. The owners had a good book on the local hiking trails which came in handy. It is convenient that they had a Tesla charger available in the car port although we did not use it. We would stay here again.

visiting Mt. Rainer
House is fantastic. Everything you could possible need and more. Kitchen was over stocked with great skillets etc. Town is nice but most things close a little early. Elk were everywhere and fun to watch. It was a little further from Mt. Rainer than we planned due to Stephen Canyon Road Closure during the week which made us go around the other way, but no big deal. I would love to go back in winter to stay again.

Property was in beautiful condition and a convenient location for our base camp to explore Rainier NP. The rental had a nicely supplied kitchen to cook in and pack lunches for the day of being out and about. Then it was perfect for a night of relaxing from the great kitchen table for games and the front porch for enjoying the beautiful evening weather. Everything we needed and more! We would love to rent again.
