Harlyn Bay Padstow, Yards from Beautiful Stunning Beach Private Location Garden

Beach Lodge is a semi-detached house built in 2013, one of a small number of properties which is lucky enough to be on level walking distance to Harlyn beach.

Beach Lodge is set back from the hump back bridge - it really is just yards away. It's a perfect base for family holidays, nipping back and to the beach, walkers and couples looking to get away and relax. There are some amazing costal walks either towards Trevose Head or towards Trevone which leads to Padstow. Trevose Golf and Country Club is a mile away, with its champion course, tennis court’s and a fabulous heated outdoor pool in the summer. The Pig restaurant is just up the Hill. The bus stop at Harlyn is just by the bridge.

Beach Lodge offer's 3 bedrooms;
Bedroom 1, is located on the ground floor with a king sized bed and en-suite shower room,
Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds.
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.
There is also a sofa in the snug..
The kitchen is well equipped for your stay.
The family bathroom is white and clean with a tiled floor.
There is a stair gate fitted, a travel cot and highchair for guest to use at the property. Its a comfortable home and we have many repeat bookings.

Outside the garden is a lovely sheltered area, the decking out the front is beautiful on a sunny morning to enjoy breakfast or a late lunch on. The garden is secure and being gated making it safe space for children and dog’s. Please note there is parking for 1 car only.

Dogs are very welcome and there is no additional charge for them, we kindly do ask you to clean up after your dog. Harlyn beach is one of the few beaches in the area which dogs are allowed on all year.

On Harlyn there is Beach Box for a warm drink, or afternoon drink in the summer, Harlyn Surf School, is located on the beach in the main season. Where you can hire paddle boards, kayaks and surf boards. They also offer lessons and tours.
There is private parking for 1 car please note the driveway is shared with one other property.

Location, location, location
Lovely holiday lodge, suited our family of 6 (from 18 years to 60) perfectly. Very clean with all the facilities we needed. Great garden with BBQ and seating. Totally secure for our dog. Plenty of things to do in the lodge if you have kids. The location of the lodge could not have been better. Only a few steps from the brilliant beach, which is amazing!!!! Dogs allowed all year on it too. Fab beach cafe/bar which does fantastic food - went several times. Loved every second of our stay.

A rare find!
A rare find indeed, genuinely a few yards level walk to a fantastic beach. Soft sand and the opportunity to body board or surf, usually when the tide turns. Otherwise paddle or swim. The real bonus for us was that dogs are permitted all year round on the beach..not often found these days. Hot drinks and food also available. Padstow a quick drive or bus ride with a huge range of eatery’s. Beach lodge was comfortable with sky TV not limited to free view. Overall a very enjoyable and comfortable stay, would recommend.

Lovely holiday lodge in a perfect location so close to the stunning beach. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of games, books DVD’s for those travelling with children. Lovely safe enclosed garden which was great for our little dog. Hosts were very kind and accommodating.

We had a great stay at Beach Lodge with our 2 daughters and 5 year old Labrador. The house was cosy and well equipped and the welcome hamper was a treat after a long journey. I would recommend the house and happily stay again.

Brilliant location in Harly
Spacious, warm, clean property very close to Harlyn Bay. We would recommend it especially if you have pets. However, on site parking is limited, there are repairs which need to be done(fences, front door). The lighting at the back is poor and there are several trip hazzards so take a torch.

Fabulous cottage, great location
Stayed for 3nights with my mom and furbabies. Hosts were great, immediate response when I couldn’t work the TV. Location is right next to the beach, so great for swimmers and surfers. The sea was amazing and still warm. The cottage has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Lovely to have a downstairs bedroom with ensuite . Thank you so much for the cake, tea and coffee - appreciated.

Stunning area , with practical accommodation
The property is in its own little fenced garden at the back of the owners property but totally separate. It has a bbq and garden furniture. The property is clean and well equipped. We took our 3 dogs which was fab as the lodge has laminate flooring and leather sofas which have both been welll used so we didnt feel like we were top toeing around nice carpets and fabric sofas. I would say its a practical lodge but comfortable . The area is stunning and you really wont want to leave.

Another amazing holiday at Beach Lodge, 2nd this year. Weather was super hot this time and the beach was fab with the sea breeze to keep cool 😎 Thank you to Jon & Maria for the yummy cream tea on arrival, it was much appreciated. Love it here & will definitely be back 😊

Perfect location
We had a fabulous week staying at Beach Lodge. It was more than enough space for the 4 of us and the proximity to the beach was a real plus - really easy just to nip down for a paddle or to set up for the day with all our kit. Something that would have made it even better would be to have an outside tap/shower so we could make sure we could get rid of as much sand off us as possible before going inside!

Loved the welcome package when we arrived. Much appreciated, Single beds needed new mattress very uncomfortable. Poor quality of bedding - duvet. Accommodation quite tired . Needed freshing up . Loved the garden and bar b q No instructions about recycling - took ours to Tesco to recycle. Excellent for the beach.

Perfect location
This was an ideal location for us to access Harlyn Beach. Literally a 2 minute walk. The garden was 100% dog safe which was really important to us. Accomodation is as described. We were 5 adults and had enough space. Already looking at options for next year.

Great location! Harlyn Bay 2mins walk flat/accessible access for my elderly parents. Very dog friendly place, our dogs had fab holiday and safe enclosed garden for them - we would definitely recommend.

Beach Lodge was a lovely place to stay in an excellent position so close to the beautiful Harlyn beach. We had 4 yappy dogs but it was not a problem. We had a couple of minor issues which were sorted out very promptly by the owners. Beds were super comfortable but the sofas not as comfy. Would benefit from at least one more larger saucepan as they are all pretty small. Would also be more helpful in the description that only hand towels supplied in bold capital letters as it did say that but I obviously missed reading the hand bit so had to go & buy bath towels, totally my fault but maybe it could be highlighted to bring attention to it. All in all had a fantastic holiday & looking forward to our next stay there in September. Thank you Jon & Maria, also the welcome tray with cake was much appreciated 😊😊

Fantastic holiday!! We stayed for two weeks. We had amazing weather and enjoyed this beautiful holiday home. It had everything we wanted, and we were just a stones throw from the dog friendly beach. Thank you for the cake on arrival we all enjoyed it. Definitely will be coming back soon.

Location was excellent, however there are one or two issues to raise. Property lacked proper maintenance with for instance the oven door handle falling off, the shower not working upstairs and a ripped settee, overall a sense of a property in decline needing updating. Totally surprised by lack of bath towels, had to dash to Tesco immediately on arrival to buy some and one toilet roll per bathroom is ridiculous. Enjoyed our stay but it could have been so much better.

Beach Lodge is brilliant
Beach Lodge is great value for money. I wanted a short break away with my wife and our grown up kids & partners for a Mother’s Day weekend treat so was a bit concerned that for the great price that this place might be a bit basic. We were pleasantly surprised that Beach Lodge had everything we needed (even Sky TV and a complimentary cake!) . We also had our son and grand kids visit for a family bbq and space was not an issue. Everyone loved their stay here. We’d definitely like to return again.

Fabulous location, no frills 3 bed annexe.
The annexe adjoins the owners property but has its own separate access and parking. The location (2 mins walk to Harlyn Bay) was superb. There is a big development project very close by, but this did not affect us. The annexe was very clean and tidy. Fixtures and fittings were quite basic and there were no frills but for a weekend away, the location is the reason you would book this property. The helpful owner quickly responded to a query and popped by to help us out. The weather was awful during our stay, and we would have liked an outside small storage area to place our boots and wet weather gear. We would definitely return, as the location is fabulous (walking distance to the Pig, 5 mins drive to the superb Cornish Arms pub etc).

Not very clear to find. Shared driveway with neighbours, felt like we were trespassing until we saw a sign for the house. The sign could be be brought out into the road more to make it easier as there is no service to make a call. Considering this helds 6 people we only had 2 loo rolls for 4 days and guests with ibs. Excited to see they had a nintendo wii with games but no working controllers. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we appreciate the welcome cake but would’ve preferred more loo roll as we kept getting napkins from the nearest cafe
