Interesting...
I booked this villa largely because I was looking for a premium property and this one appeared to be the best in the area. It was certainly the most expensive. A five day stay at a rather significant price turned out to be meh. Here's the breakdown:
The good:
The location is ideal. A five minute drive from both Aiguablava and Tamariu, it's really a special location.
The view is stellar.
If you have a large party, there is ample living space.
The kitchen is reasonably well stocked with all sorts of dull knives and kitchen wares.
The bad:
The house is dirty. There's dust on everything The windows were filthy. Really filthy. The house should be cleaned.
The house is overly dingy and beaten up. It feels like a house that was likely very cool and sexy in 2006 when it was new, but it's just dragging now. Floors are cracked, walls are cracked, paint is peeling. The house smells musty.
The huge sliding doors seem cool, but there are mosquitoes that make the doors unable to be left open. There are also tons of flies. So the identifying feature of the house can't really be used. It's lame. We wanted to sleep with the windows open to hear the ocean but that's not possible here.
As others have noted, the house is dangerous. One slip and you'll fall down the cliff. We don't drink, but I imagine a partying group would have a potential issue here.
All in all, I wouldn't rent this house again.
