Great Hotel Downtown Palm Springs
Everyone at The Thompson Hotel was extremely friendly. Our room was clean and had a very spacious balcony. We loved the various outdoor firepits where you could sit at night. We will stay there again.

There may still be a few kinks related to the opening and ongoing construction, but the hotel is very nice. Great pool area and bar, restaurant food is good, the hotel car is a treat, and the guest rooms are comfortable. My room didn't have a place to work, so I was on the balcony, which was a bit loud. Hallway noise traveled into my room, but there was no noise from adjacent guestrooms. Water took almost 5 mins to warm up for afternoon and evening showers, but mornings had no issue. As I have experienced with other hotels in this destination, they need to work hard to fulfill the promise of the price point, something their competitors have not learned. Kudos to the valet team - always courteous, helpful and willing to get me where i was going. And front desk gave a great brunch recommendation.

Relax even for a night
The room is big, big bathroom and a big shower, which two people.can fit. Just the second floor has a bomb fire were people can relax but if you have a room there be prepared to hear conversations and laughters most of the night. But overall my husband and I were pleased with everything.
