We really enjoyed our stay. The train history was such a cute bonus! The beds were clean and cozy. The kitchen offered tea which was perfect for the cold days we were there. Check-in and check-out were both convenient. We would love to stay again!

Charming inn with wonderful train memorabilia. Room was quite spacious and comfortable. Love the sheets!! Only downside is location right on the road, but it was quiet on a weekend. Great connection to the Steaming Tender restaurant as well! Would recommend.

Whilst the instructions for gaining access to the accommodation were perfectly adequate we missed the opportunity to connect with the host in person. Probably of less concern to US based guests than ourselves who were not as familiar with the area. Everything was neat and tidy and more than spacious enough for our needs. One potential issue with guests being left to manage themselves is that some will take advantage of the hostā€™s generosity rather than limiting their consumption of provisions to what is expected. Didnā€™t see the host or staff hence the rating.

Great stay at the inn
We enjoyed our stay at the Trainmasters Inn. It's a cozy little place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable. There was minimal interaction with the staff, which we were fine with. When messaged, staff responded promptly. Breakfast muffins were delicious. The only con would be the noise level from the floor above but that isn't really something that they can control. If this is something that would bother you, then I would recommend a room not on the first floor. We would definitely stay again.

When I come into Palmer for track weekends, always stay here. Steaming Tender restaurant is walking distance, and there's a vintage musical instrument store nearby. Nice place to stay, it's my home from home when I am in the area.
