Welcome to 1 Huntington Lane. 2.5 blocks from the Square in PalmNth and all the hospo activities contained in and around there. A quiet stroll home is all that is required after a night out.
3 bdrm, 3 bath upmarket townhouse in a quiet, central, park like setting. Multiple off street parking.
The house is designed to be a comfortable home away from home for your short term stay in PalmNth. It is an 80's built home and has such has a few age appropriate dings and scratches. We don't pretend to be perfect :-)
Sorry, the house is not suitable for children (H&S around the stairs and spa pool)
You will occupy the whole house (excl garage, but osp for 2 cars).
Outside spa pool in rear courtyard.
Very quiet, private situation.
Plz note that we have a 2 night minimum on holiday weekends.
ALSO note - the Waitangi weekend of Feb 6-9, 2025 has a 3 day minimum stay.

Friends 70th Birthday
3 Couples from BOP and Chch. needed accomodation for a mutual friends 70th held in gardens in PN. The place was perfect for us all. Well stocked kitchenware etc. The spa was great - different areas for all. We were very happy overall. Must point out though that the place did need a good clean. Did not worry us but does need a little TLC.

House Needs A THOROUGH CLEAN Before Being Re-Let
Our stay at a Bach in Palmerston North, booked via BookaBach, was highly disappointing due to several cleanliness and maintenance issues, forcing us to vacate early. The fridge had outdated food, including items from 2022, causing a terrible odour that prevented us from storing any fresh food. This forced us to eat out during our entire stay in the evenings as we could not cook from home with fresh fruit and vegetables. The house had a pervasive musty smell, and mould was growing on the windows in all bedrooms, posing a significant health risk, especially to our son, who has a history of croup. Mould was developing on the ceiling of the main bedroom, rotten wood was developing in the second bedroom, and cobwebs were all over all the windows, showing a clear lack of cleaning. The ensuite bathroom was unusable, with broken shower doors, mould build-up, and non-functional lights. Throughout the house, carpets were unvacuumed, and we found dead insects, cobwebs, and dirt in corners, especially in the lounge and behind furniture. The downstairs bathroom was filthy, with stains in the toilet, a used razor in the shower, and mould in several areas. Due to these conditions, we vacated two days early and have raised a query with BookaBach to address. In its current state and condition, deep cleaning, mould removal, and repairs to be suitable for future guests. We hope these concerns are addressed urgently to avoid future health risks. ****Can contact for full feedback****

Nice position and a lovely house - my partner likes things clean and the bench was left un wiped - with old food in fridge and freezer which didn’t go down that well- the little things like a razor left in shower with old soap. blinds not working so a bit of a fishbowl from the Main Street. But overall was a nice place

A bit surprised…
The location was ideal. The weather great - mostly -lol. I was somewhat surprised by a few things- particularly re bathrooms that weren’t cleaned. The rangehood didn’t appear to work and the large couche in the sitting area was sporting many broken springs. We still had a good time mind. The spa was lovely too.

Square dancing weekend
We arrived mid afternoon, after a long journey it was lovely to go in and be able to relax in comfort. The house was clean and tidy, and very comfortable. Beds were comfy. Showers good. Kitchen was good, had everything we needed. Except we went to use the rangehood and it wasnt working, we cooked bacon and eggs for breakfast, so we had to open up the windows, which was a bit sad, as it was very cold. Also the spatula handle fell off when i pulled it out of the draw. I left it on the bench so you could see it was broken. The bathrooms were lovely and clean, and, Im not sure if there was meant to be, but there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms. A short stroll to town in the morning, and a 5 minute drive to our dancing event.

Easy check in. Very very very spacious rooms with 3 toilet & showers catering for a big family like ours. Restaurants, supermarket and The Plaza are all near. We will definitely be staying here again in the future when we are back in Palmy. Short drive away to Ohakea Airforce Base.
