Welcome to our Jewel Box, in the beachfront Compass Point building within the gated community of WaterSound! Compass Point is the closest beachfront building in the main WaterSound neighborhood. Incredible Gulf and Dune views plus beautiful interiors combine for a relaxing and inspiring vacation experience.

WaterSound is a walkers’ paradise with miles of trails within the neighborhood and adjoining undeveloped Deer Lake State Park. The gated Watersound community limits access only to guests staying in the neighborhood, making it perfect for quiet, peaceful vacations along 30A. There are many parks and nooks throughout the neighborhood to enjoy the amazing 30A weather year-round.

An Introvert’s Dream
This property was perfect for our group of four! The condo was spacious enough for us to dine, play, or relax together indoors but also had ample room for everyone to find a spot alone when needed. The view from the balcony is even better than pictured and being near the pool made it easy to take advantage of lap swimming time in the mornings. Furniture was comfortable, unit was very clean, and kitchen had everything we needed. If it weren’t for the siren call of that beautiful gulf, we would have been perfectly happy staying inside the whole time! For those who haven’t stayed in Water Sound before, the boardwalk over the dunes is a simple walk but there are stairs at one point on the footpath before you reach the beach. Easy to navigate but good to know for any who might need a little extra help.

We enjoyed the gulf views, beach, and privacy. The condo was well appointed with comfortable furniture, excellent bed, and reliable wifi. Kitchen was nicely outfitted for vacation food preparation and cooking (we mainly dined out). We plan on coming back for a romantic getaway.

The condo is beautiful and the location was great. Loved waking up to coffee on the porch and ending every evening with a beautiful sunset in the same spot! Beds were incredible comfortable. Perfect get away for 2 couples. Could not get Bose system to work and kitchen was lacking the simplest of needs (salt/pepper, coffee filters) but understand that there was probably a deep clean after the busy season and most “extras” were thrown away. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Property as described. Watersound is a beautiful destination and condo was well appointed. Close to beach with small walk to access. Bikes were especially fun as 30A is very bike friendly. Beautiful views of gulf from large windows. Only complaint, bedding wasn’t very fresh. 2nd bedroom bedding had sand in the sheets when we arrived.

Relaxing costal getaway!
Weather your looking to stay in or venture out this is a great property! Everything we wanted was within steps of the elevator door. Beach is great, pool is great, food and drink options at the pool were more than adequate. Available chairs, boogie boards,umbrellas, bikes, and beach toys in the owners garage cage were better than expected. No need for expensive chair rental on the beach. Our family would not hesitate going back!

Spring Break 2023
We had a wonderful week in Watersound! The location of the property was perfect for our family with young children. We spent a lot of time at the beach and pool which were both right out the front door. The walkway to the beach is longer than other areas we have stayed in 30A, but the property is right next to the walkway so that makes it easy. The locker in the parking garage for the sandy beach toys/chairs was a huge plus. We loved the convenience of having the Dunesider restaurant at the pool and utilized it on several occasions. The beds were very comfortable. The tall ceilings made it feel extremely spacious. The markings on the oven were worn off so it made it difficult to read if we were turning it on properly but we eventually figured it out. We would definitely stay in Watersound again at this property!

You have to stay here!
First the unit was absolutely immaculate! Kudos to the cleaning crew and the person overseeing them. The kitchen was so well appointed with high end Viking appliances, tools, flatware, plates and glasses. All top shelf! Fantastic layout with large floor to ceiling windows and drop dead view of the gulf. Family room, bedrooms, baths very well appointed with high end finishes. Best bed ever! Being on the top floor gives you higher ceilings and no footsteps above. The underground parking was fantastic, so close to the elevator. We love the storage cage with bikes, beach chairs etc. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO's around the country but this unit tops them all. Thanks for a great stay! We'll be back.
