The Beach House is a home like no other. Built by Curt in 2014, this cottage is nestled within the palms of a large, serene corner lot on the beautiful Forgotten Coast. The quiet area around the house allows for a relaxing trip with uncrowded beaches. Light-washed hardwood runs floor to ceiling throughout the home and the large windows provide spectacular views of the surrounding environment. Our private access trail across the street, outdoor shower, and water hose make beach trips a breeze. This coastal area is pet-friendly and offers many enjoyable possibilities including peaceful strolls on the beautiful beaches, swimming, sun bathing, boating, snorkeling, fishing, crabbing, scalloping and surfing. Beach equipment including golf carts, canoes, kayaks, and extra chairs can be rented nearby.
The balconies are great for watching the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, as well as for wildlife viewing. Bottlenose dolphins are often seen swimming by, even from the house. Loggerhead sea turtles make their nests on our beaches from May through October. The empty lot across Hall street is a State Preserve where eagles are viewed almost daily. Also, be sure to listen out for the mockingbird family that lives nearby! It is not uncommon to see one sit on the roof to recite his songs for the day.
The Beach House is a custom built two-story home with two bedrooms, two full baths, a large kitchen and family room, and a private breakfast room with spectacular views to enjoy your morning coffee. The house sleeps eight, with a queen size bed in each bedroom, and two pull out queen size sofa beds in the living room. There are porches on both the front and back of the home. The back porch is screened and there are small open deck porches off of each bedroom which are excellent for greeting the morning sun or watching the stars at night.
The Beach House contains a fully equipped kitchen, a utility room with a washer and dryer, wi-fi, and a smart TV with streaming capabilities and Hulu+ access for live channels. The private breakfast room and family room offer excellent beach views. The house has central heating and air conditioning and ceiling fans are installed in most rooms. The large yard includes outdoor grills and a cement breezeway under the house complete with a wooden porch swing, picnic table, and ping pong table for entertaining and enjoying the outdoors.
This coastal area offers one of the last beautiful private and peaceful beaches in Florida, where you can collect a variety of sea shells, appreciate wildlife, and enjoy the peace and beauty of The Uncommon Florida. If you're looking for a beautiful, one of a kind home on a quiet beach to relax and enjoy the wonders of Florida's Forgotten Coast, the Beach House is the place!
