Refined Yet Approachable
Such a perfect hotel - it’s not spacious (at least the entry price rooms that I stayed in), but the rooms are arranged perfectly to make the most of the space. Upgrade aesthetics in the bathroom really brings some luxury to the space. Refined yet approachable in style. Location is near a ton of places to eat, getting around the city was a breeze, and you don’t feel like you’re in a tourist trap. Staff was always helpful and very kind. This hotel is now my go-to when traveling to/through Paris. If you’re on the fence, book it.

I would check your rooms first
I checked into a room that looked nothing like room I was expecting nor lookes like the rooms on the website. I had to stay my first night in a room that was so so. I spoke the manager the next morning, and she assured me the room was was the best cause it was on the 6th floor. Not at all. The chair was faded and no balcony. We moved to the 2nd floor. I like the room much better with a balcony. The only thing about it was the hand soap dispensary didnt work, and 2 days into the stay the shower area started to smell like dead rat. Horrible odor. They charged me $212 for a room that smelled like dead rat. I appreciate the manager making the effort but first impressions are everything. Totally miss leading my first night.

Great desk staff, but having to traverse across the square to the room was annoying. No elevator/lift, with a very tight circular stairwell that was also quite steep. Everything about this hotel felt small and cramped. The room itself was clean and functional. Excellent shower. What was quite odd was the total lack of activity on the street and in the square between the desk and the restaurant. It was very strange, given the amount of activity and people mere minutes away.

Good hotel in central location
We had a conference in Arts et Metiers and chose this for the location. Lovely view, good condition. Like many hotels in older buildings, they had to get creative to fit a full bathroom on, but my 6’5” / 2 meter tall husband loved that the shower head was plenty high enough. Many good restaurants and bakeries in walking distance.

As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and the room was one of my favorites in Paris. I have been to Paris multiple times. Clean comfortable bed and the AC was so cold and shower so hot! Awesome decor and the staff was lovely

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here. Brilliant location in a little traditional French square with only a short walk from multiple metro stations. Staff were lovely and the room was beautiful and perfect for our stay. Will definitely be recommending and hopefully return in the future!
