When I arrived at the Hotel, I was extremely stressed due to having my phone stolen earlier on in the evening, had no access to my contacts or emails and was lucky to remember the name of the hotel as I have memory issues.
Bertille, who was on the desk that night, restored my faith in people as she offered kind words, let me use the computer and phone to try to get in touch with important services and people, even booking a cab for me as I no longer had a phone to do this.
Without her help, my journey to the next country would have been a disaster- if even possible. Her patience and determination in going above and beyond for people is unwavering, as I witnessed through interactions with people that came through during the evening.
People can be helpful in these situations, but I've never experienced anything like it. It wasn't the places that were the highlight of my day in paris, but this.
As for the rooms, pressure of the showers is absolutely outstanding. Clean, great lighting, tasteful colour scheme. For the money, the best deal you'll get in Paris.
How this is apparently a two star hotel boggles the mind!
